Spotted in the wild! 😎

It was pretty cool seeing one of our "Chaos Coordinator" tees making an appearance at the show over the weekend. Even more fitting when the wearer was Amanda, who spent Saturday doing exactly what the title suggests — dashing around behind the scenes, solving problems before anyone else even knew they existed!

Of course, Flo was far more impressed on Sunday when Amanda stopped coordinating chaos to provide the important stuff... cuddles. 🥰

We received some lovely critiques today from judges of the Canterbury Bull Terrier Club shows in March. Very proud of both my girls 🤍🤎

Attractively marked brindle and white bitch. Head is long with gentle unbroken profile. Correct mouth. Dark triangular eye with neat well placed ears giving her very good expression. Lovely bone, straight front with tight elbow, good width of chest, neat feet, she has length of neck with good shoulder, a little long cast but correct topline and strong hindquarter with well turned stifle. Showed and moved very well.

Brindle & white bitch: nice markings: nice head, small eyes, well placed ears, nice length of neck, Good front, good bone, nice topline, nice tail set, moved well. Lovely stripes.

🤍🧡🤍 Vinca is having a warm and wonderful weekend while Flo and I are at the show. Sue has been spoiling her with prime position in front of the fire and ice cream for breakfast!

Flo’s just a little excited to be away for the long weekend in Feilding… although I’m not entirely convinced she’s realised it’s for FIVE dog shows yet 🤣

The chaos has already begun, and it’s shaping up to be a barking good weekend hanging out with our crazy dog friends!

The Dogs NZ Yearbook has just been released, and it is always an interesting read when you own a rare breed 👀

It’s been really nice to see Bull Terrier (Miniature) numbers slowly growing again in New Zealand over the last few years:

• 2023 — 1 litter, 10 registrations
• 2024 — 4 litters, 20 registrations
• 2025 — 6 litters, 24 registrations

Even with those increases, the breed is still produced in very small numbers here, which is why well-bred Mini Bull Terrier puppies are not always readily available and why many breeders have waitlists.

Responsible breeding is never about quantity — it’s about health, temperament, structure, and preserving the breed for the future 💛

It’s lovely to see more people discovering and appreciating this funny, stubborn, clown-like little breed, while continuing to support ethical breeding and responsible ownership.

Vinca got to enjoy the morning walk in the sun today ☀️ Trust her to find a beer bottle 🤣
We did some work around her pulling on the lead and it didn't take long for her to listen to cues and respond 🤍

Flo would like to file a formal complaint that she is being deprived of breakfast… despite already eating hers 10 minutes ago 🙃

Apparently my breakfast was the missing piece of her nutritional needs.

The barking.
The whining.
The tiny dramatic noises like she’s auditioning for Day's Of Our Lives.

If you didn’t know better, you’d think this poor dog had never been fed in her life 😂

Mini Bull Terrier owners… tell me I’m not the only one living with a four-legged professional drama queen?

And as for Vinca, she's refusing to get out if bed! Chalk and Cheese 🤦‍♀️🤣
