The Helite Zip’In 2 Airbag Airvest is something I wear every day when riding my horses, and it definitely made the trip across the ditch to Australia with me! 🇳🇿
Super easy to use, with a simple clip-on attachment to the saddle strap, it’s completely hassle-free and incredibly easy to transfer from horse to horse. It’s like having a safety blanket with me wherever I go, without even noticing I’m wearing it.
Helite airvests are specifically designed to combine comfort, freedom of movement and protection, making them ideal for everyday riding, training and competitions.
One of the standout features is the incredibly fast inflation time of just 100 milliseconds (0.1 seconds). The airvest is designed to inflate before you hit the ground, providing protection to vital areas including the neck, back, chest, abdomen, pelvis and sacrum.
The unique airbag design helps stabilise the trunk and support the body’s alignment, while the large inflation volume provides a protective cushion around the rider.
Despite the protection it offers, the Zip’In 2 is surprisingly lightweight, weighing approximately 650g. Its elasticated sides, stretchy technical fabric and breathable mesh panels allow plenty of freedom of movement while keeping it comfortable throughout long days in the saddle.
Another feature I love is the versatility. The Zip’In 2 can be worn on its own or integrated into compatible outerwear, making it easy to achieve a smart, discreet look under a show jacket without compromising comfort.
The Zip’In 2 airvest zips straight into the Gilet sleeveless vest, which is perfect for me when riding multiple horses a day. It helps protect the airvest from everyday wear and tear while keeping it looking brand new. Both pieces are incredibly comfortable, and I genuinely forget I’m even wearing them!
The mechanical activation system is simple and reliable, using a connection to the saddle strap. Following deployment, the airvest can be reset by replacing the CO₂ cartridge, meaning it can be used again without having to replace the entire vest.
With a 4-year warranty when registered within the required period, it’s a piece of safety equipment I’m incredibly happy to have as part of my everyday riding gear.
For me, whether I’m schooling at home, training, competing or travelling overseas with Titan, having comfortable and practical protection is so important.
Helite have very generous donated a airvest as part of my raffle, make sure you get behind this its not to late to buy a ticket
