Creature Comforts Pet Lodge, NZ On State Highway 1 between Bulls & Sanson, in the Manawatu. A spacious rural location; short or long A tired dog is a happy dog!

Here at Creature Comforts Pet Lodge we appreciate the high standards pet owners and animal lovers expect. We provide a safe, roomy and social environment in a pleasant rural setting, catering for all sizes and ages of pets including those needing extra care. Large individual indoor/outdoor kennels, grassed exercise areas and a friendly atmosphere mean you can leave with peace of mind, knowing your beloved family pets are well taken care of. Do you have a social dog that may benefit from coming along during the day to play outside with other dogs? Doggy Daycare gives your dog a chance to have fun with their canine friends while you are off working, shopping or attending appointments. Drop them off in the morning and then pick them up at the end of the day. Doggie Day Care gives them lots of stimulation and exercise, especially if you aren’t able to manage to all the time. Perfect for dogs who would otherwise be home on their own during the day. Your dog comes home tired and happy from interacting with others during the day. Doggy Daycare is also a great way to introduce your dog to Creature Comforts Pet Lodge prior to boarding overnight. That way they are used to coming and having fun, and they will be more relaxed when it comes to staying over. All social dogs, big and small are catered to in their own areas.

Dear Customers
We are wanting to let you know our news, and we do so with a mix of emotions.

After nearly 13 amazing years of making Creature Comforts Pet Lodge our home and passion, we are putting our business & home on the market, to find a new owner who will lead it into its next chapter.

What originally started as Nicola’s 10-year plan has grown into 13 years of doing what we love most—looking after your precious pets. While it is hard to say goodbye, it is time for us to move on to new horizons and finally enjoy some of the wonderful holiday destinations we have spent years hearing about from all of you!

Please rest assured that Creature Comforts is being sold as a going concern. This means the business will continue to operate smoothly, and your pets will still be able to come to the place that many of them consider their second home. All your future bookings that you have made are safe in our system and will be honored by the incoming owners whenever the business is sold.

We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your trust, loyalty, and support over the years. It has been an absolute privilege caring for your furry family members.

It is early days yet, but we wanted to let you know and will keep you updated as we transition into this next phase.

With our kindest regards,
Nicola, Gavin and the team at Creature Comforts Pet Lodge
