I wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to our amazing clients for nominating us for the Tompkins Wake Business Awards this year.

This brilliant team and I, just wanted to look after local People as well as we look after your Pets and this is a nice little indication we're moving in the right direction - although there's plenty more planned πŸ˜‰

If you could spare a minute to vote for us using the link I would be genuinely so grateful!

Plus look at those smiles, we don't want ruin them by coming last...how awkwardπŸ˜†πŸΎ

It's not the flashiest radio studio but it sounds good😁
I've got the call up to talk to Franceska Rudkin in 30minutes about our dog euthanasia levels in NZ councils.

A pretty emotive subject that could use some practical answers...I'd love your input!

Just about to go on Newstalk ZB- if you have any burning pet questions call in between 11am-12pm

You know when you have those really tough days...yeah, well hanging out with this brave little fella is definitely not one of them😁

This is little Sonic the kitten who was found in a rubbish pile and weighed a miserable 45g...on his own he didn't have a chance.

Step in nurse Erika and Chelsea who have fed this little guy EVERY 2hours with a high nutrient milk replacement formula. He is now a whopping 131g, active and cheeky and is thankfully going to pull through.

It's Spring so this means kittens and puppies but not all of them are lucky enough to have homes. So If you find yourself in a similar situation the trick here is to feed small and often. Use a formula that has the right nutrient profile..but..also has a high absorption rate so those nutrients are actually made available to your little patient. No point, putting in all that work and not having those important nutrients being used.

We used the Royal Canin Baby Milk formula, warmed to a tepid level (ie. doesn't feel hot or cold on your wrist) to save Sonic.

Hope your day is going as great as ours and remember if you have any questions keep them coming in😊

A massive thanks to team for being so welcoming and discussing one of my favourite subjects - puppy care.
Although it was over so quickly I feel I could have helped more... So keep an eye out over the next couple of weeks for my best PET VET tips to help you transition your new puppy/kitten into your family 🐢😻

PS: Steve the Burmese is keen to get in on the action, so I'm just going to apologise in advance πŸ˜†

So I've made some major changes over the last few months (including leaving Vetora!) and this house call sums it up nicely...

You never know what's around the corner but if you've got a smile on your dial you're probably going to enjoy the surprise!

The first lockdown showed me I can do more to help. So that's exactly what I've been doing and along with a few amazing peeps who see things the same way we've come up with a few good ideas that we think can really help both people and pets!

I've got a lot to share during the rest of 2020 so I'll get back to you soon 😁

I was actually on my way to see a big beautiful Rotty when I came across these young ladies...

A Massive THANKS to all the Mums who keep the rest of us in the family going 😁
