Our rescue pup, Laika (GSP cross) has had chronic gut issues. She’s always been highly food motivated, but her first two years of life were marked by trips to the vet, surgery and illness. Her grumbling stomach used to keep us up at night.
After Laika got sick on yet another bag of premium dog biscuits, we decided it was time to do something different.
We talked to Natasha at Prey Pet Food and got our girl onto a natural raw meat diet. Natasha created a feeding plan for Laika and guided us through a journey of getting her well again, diagnosing and treating her likely IBD and the associated issues it caused.
Natasha went above and beyond in every sense. She studied Laika’s medical history, organised diagnostic testing and sought second opinions as needed. She spent an incredible amount of time talking to us, answering questions. She even got excited to see photos of bowel movements.
Now, Laika’s sensitive puku is under control, she’s more settled at night, has a shiny coat, heaps of energy and healthy bowel movements. She’s loves her raw food diet, and it completely turned around her health.
After months of illness, we were desperate to get Laika help and are so glad we found Prey. It suddenly felt like we had a whole team supporting us. Thank you to Natasha and the team at Prey for all of your help.
