Angel would like to wish everyone a better International Dog Day than she is having. After an altercation with a wire fence last week she is sporting some stitches, bandaging, and the dreaded, cone of shame. She'd appreciate everyone's deepest sympathies, and is accepting all treats. Her brother deserves no treats, he is not wearing a cone (nor did he try scale a fence so 🤷‍♀️ treats for being sensible?)

She's been a day! Snowiest day I've had in almost 9 years of doing this. The dogs did not seem to mind. I am grateful for merino layers, wet weather gear, water resistant shoes, and a warm house today! Forecast looks mildly improved for tomorrow 🤞

9 delightful faces for your Wednesday evening. Poor Helmi, top left, caught that downpour late this afternoon. She was not super impressed.

With spare time due to a couple of dogs being away for the week, that happy black labrador, Hades, ran me 6km round the block. I welcome waves and yells of encouragement when running (solo, or with that doggo), it's amazing how a smile and support drives you forward 😊 🏃‍♀️🐕🐾

I hope your lap is as cosy as mine this afternoon. After spending 5 hours outside in the freezing horizontal rain, it is nice to be warm and dry at home again. Sometimes I wouldn't mind if dogs liked rain less...🙃
