Ever heard of a hook? 🦷🐴

It's one of the things Dr. Jess looks out for when checking your horse's mouth.

But what exactly is a hook, what causes one to develop, and why can it be a problem?

What's Dr. Jess's favourite part of the job? 🐴

Well, it's not just about the teeth!

And judging by the number of photos and videos we've collected of horses snoozing, relaxing and enjoying a cuddle after their dentals, it's safe to say this is a favourite part of the job! 😍

Our camera roll is getting rather full, so we might just have to share some of those cute faces next week. 🤭🐴

One of the questions Dr. Jess gets asked ALL the time… why sedation? 💉🐴

There is actually a pretty good reason for it!

Dr. Jess explains why sedation is used for dentals and why it helps her get a proper look at what’s going on in your horse’s mouth 😍
