Did you know that having cages designed for lowering cats cage stress has huge benefits to them and their handlers, including:
-increasing adoption rates in shelters: cats in low-stress cages sleep better, hide less, and appear friendlier and more approachable to potential adopters
-speeds up recovery: cats heal much faster when their nervous system is calm
-reduces fear-aggression and timid behaviours meaning cats are easier to handle
-helping prevent stress-induced illnesses like UTIs
-keeps the immune system strong: chronic stress releases cortisol, which suppresses a cat's immune system and can contribute to longer hospital stays
-ensures accurate monitoring can take place including HR, Pulse and BP
-encourages normal eating and drinking helping to prevent dehydration and constipation

The dog hospital at the brand new Springlands Veterinary Centre in Blenheim looks very smart with our cages installed. Congratulations to Jeremy and the team for creating such a great new clinic and continuing to help the furry friends of Blenheim. Jeremy sent a lovely email to us recently with some nice feedback on our cages - The new kennels and cattery units have been fantastic. They look impressive and are easy to clean!
What great feedback! Thanks so much Springlands Vets.
