This isn't a knot.

It's a hand splice.

A properly made splice creates a strong, neat finish without the bulky knot that many people are used to seeing.

Every splice is completed by hand here in our Central Otago workshop, using techniques we've refined over many years.

This week Nigel has spliced a batch of 100 Slip Leads heading to an Animal Shelter in Auckland & a batch of Horse Handling ropes has begun the journey to a ranch in Canada 🇨🇦

We love knowing our gear is trusted not only around New Zealand but by dog & horse people around the world.

What would you like us to show from the workshop next?
