🐾💙 HAPPY VET NURSE WEEK! 💙🐾

This week, we’re celebrating the glue that holds a veterinary clinic together — our amazing veterinary nurses! 🐶🐱🐴

We are incredibly lucky here at PVH to have such an incredible team of nurses who go above and beyond for their patients every single day.

From anaesthetic monitoring and hospital care, to nurse consults, surgical nursing, patient care, and everything in between — there’s so much more to veterinary nursing than meets the eye!

Veterinary nursing takes compassion, resilience, knowledge, patience and an enormous amount of heart. Our nurses are there for our patients through some of their best moments and some of their hardest ones, always providing care, comfort and plenty of love along the way.

So, if you see one of our amazing nurses this week, please take a moment to let them know just how awesome they are!

Happy Vet Nurse Week to our wonderful PVH nursing team — you’re the absolute best!

WE’RE PROUD TO BE PART OF THE SPCA DESEXING PROGRAMME!

We’re pleased to be supporting the SPCA Desexing Programme for Cats, helping make desexing and microchipping more accessible to members of our community.

📅 2026 Campaign: 5 August – 30 November

🐾 HOW IT WORKS

Register online at book.spcadesexing.nz or scan the QR code below on the picture.
Once your SPCA voucher has been issued, you’ll receive an automatic email with your voucher.

You’ll then need to contact the clinic directly to arrange your cat’s desexing appointment.

💰 WHAT WILL IT COST?

You will pay $30 towards the desexing of your cat.

If your cat also requires a microchip, there is an additional $30, making the total $60 for desexing and microchipping.

The microchip also includes registration on the national microchip database, helping your cat be identified and returned home if they ever go missing.

📌 Please note: Voucher eligibility and the applicable voucher price are determined through the SPCA programme.

If you have received a voucher and we are your nominated participating clinic, please contact us to arrange your appointment.
