Dog Almighty Dog Walking We are a professional dog walking service for dogs living in Riwaka, Motueka, Tasman Village & Mapua (New Zealand). We specialise in off lead group walks.

Group walks, solo walks, regular and casual bookings. We offer a dog walking service in Motueka, Riwaka, Mapua and Tasman (New Zealand). We keep our groups small so your dog gets individual attention and an adventure walk with some carefully selected furry friends. These walks are fantastic for social skills and helping your dog burn off some energy while you work or play. Pick up and drop off service included.

Dream job or what?! 🐾💛

We’re very excited to welcome Lenka to the Dog Almighty dog walking team!

Lenka grew up around dogs in the Czech Republic and has plenty of experience dog walking and pet sitting from her years living in Europe. She moved to New Zealand with her husband two years ago and now calls beautiful Ruby Bay home.

She shares her home with two lovely older dogs, Elsie and Raz, and dogs have always been a huge part of her life.

A few weeks in and she’s already getting to know our crews, exploring some of our favourite walking spots and, judging by this reel, settling into the job pretty nicely! 🐶🌿

Lola, Timmy, Leia, Tess & Honey know each other well now, and it shows. They race around, play chase, pause for gentle nose touches and give each other space when needed 🥹💕

With the same small group each week, trust has grown into real friendships — and these five are the best of buddies 🐶

We have space for a new doggie in our Wednesday afternoon Mapua/Tasman Village group.

Willow, Luna and Sprocket are all friendly, gentle characters. They would love a new buddy to hang with.

They are each 10 to 15kg so we could add a bigger or smaller dog to this group.

A very big welcome to our new dog walker, Sarah! 🐾

Sarah joined our team a couple of weeks ago, and she’s already a big hit with all the doggies! 🐶❤️

Sarah is a huge animal lover and will soon be starting her vet nursing studies. She has experience with dogs of all sizes and also spent time volunteering at the Tasman Dog Pound while her mum worked there for many years.

🐾 We're Hiring Dog Walkers! 🐾

Dog Almighty is looking for one or two reliable, dog-savvy people to join our team of professional dog walkers.

If you love dogs, enjoy working outdoors, and like the idea of spending your days exploring beautiful beaches, rivers and forests with small groups of regular dogs, we'd love to hear from you.

The role involves driving around Motueka, Riwaka, and Māpua collecting a small group of regular dogs before heading off on a doggy adventure.

🐾 To be successful in this role you'll need:

🐶 Previous experience working with dogs is essential.
🚐 Be over 25 years old (for our vehicle insurance).
💪 Have a good level of strength and fitness.
🚗 Hold a full, clean driver's licence and be confident driving a manual vehicle.
🐶 Resident in New Zealand (no working holiday visa please).
🌿 Be drug-free in accordance with New Zealand's roadside drug testing laws.
🤝 Be confident working independently with dogs and as part of a supportive team.
📱 Have a smartphone and be able to take photos and send emails.
📍Live within an easy drive of Motueka, where each day starts and finishes. We wont consider applications from people living in Nelson at this time, sorry.

🐾 Availability 🐾

• Available shifts: Tuesday, Wednesday (start 9am to about 2.30pm). We are open to hearing from people who just want one regular shift a week.
• Additional weekday availability for casual work would be a bonus.

🐾 Pay 🐾

$28–$34 per hour, depending on the shift.

New Group! 😎💕

A big wagging tail welcome to our newest group… Penny, Bruno, Ollie & Flynn.

They all started with us just a few weeks ago and they are already solid mates.

Our first few walks with new recruits is a lot about recall, lead and wait training. They have learned HEAPS already.

This is our first walking group from the Mahana area. Although there is a wait list for this particular group, if you live in Mahana and would like your doggo to join the fun please get in touch and we will see what we can do ✌️🐶🙏

Meet Alfie the Jack Russel! This little tyke joined us for a few walks. How cute is he?!

I LOVE Jack Russel terriers… they are so full of character. Alfie is just 8 months old and so walking with these slightly older ladies is a really good lesson for him.
