Reliable recall using Classical conditioning.

Classical conditioning means a neutral stimulus (the whistle) is paired with an unconditioned stimulus (“something that already has meaning for the dog” ) In this case, treats/something of interest/toy on a 1:1 ratio. Through reliable pairing, the conditioned stimulus attains the same emotional response initially elicited by the unconditioned stimulus.

Barking Beardies!

Old snoop dogg Megs in training to reduce her barking and master leash skills.
Hard for megs to contain all that excitement when traditionally beardies are sheep dogs. Megs bloodlines tell her to use her voice to herd sheep.

No sheep 🐑 up here Megs, “quiet”.

Loveable Labs!

Aslan in training not to “pull” on the lead. Keeping his engagement on the human using the slip lead combined with positive reinforcement he is now walking like a champ and has mastered his leash skills.

No dogs were harmed in the making of this video. Only rewarded.

Lots of canine nose work, beach and river adventures incorporating lots of basic manners. Using positive reinforcement they’re encouraged to enhance their sit, recall, down, off, wait or gentle skills.
This lot love being out and about with their pals for on/off lead adventures.
