The workshops will be held at our clinic from 11.30am–1.30pm, with snacks provided.

It’s moo-ving day (weekend) for any dairy farmers who are making a change for next season! 🐄🐄🐄

Good luck to anyone who is shifting between farms. If you’re moving your herd, we know you’ll keep the welfare of your girls top of mind.

📞 Please give us a call to update your account information in our system if things have changed for you. This could include your farm or run-off addresses, your contact info, the details for your manager/contract milker/share milker, or any stock changes.

If you're new to the area welcome, once you're settled in we'd love to meet you, please come on down and have a yarn. We'd love to see how we could help you and your farm. We open at 8am tomorrow for all your veterinary supplies.

It's not all puppies and kittens! Here's Vet Nurse Beth soaking the feet of a poor chook with bumblefoot 🐥

"Bumblefoot" (or pododermatitis) is an infection that affects the feet of birds. It occurs when bacteria enter through small cuts, abrasions, or pressure sores on a foot, leading to tenderness, swelling and the forming of a pus-filled scab or abscess.

This chicken was brought in to see us after her owner noticed she was struggling with a swollen foot. On inspection, we quickly diagnosed her and set about giving her a good foot soak, followed by scab removal and bandaging.
