Who knew, all i needed was a wild pony 🥹🤎

This winter, I planned to get a Kaimanawa for the kids to learn with. Ive quickly realised I was destined to be the student, and I am feeling more inspired than ever in all of my work life as I learn from Holloway. Loving exploring the art of liberty, and in turn the deeper understanding and appreciation it brings for the foundations of everything we do with our horses.

My little friend and I have got some exciting personal goals together, but first a slightly different Equifest this year with the Stallion Challenge now in the season plan! 🐴✨

Holly 💕 14.1hh 5yr mare

I really rate this pony and everyone who rides her loves her! She is a beautiful correct type, well schooled on the flat and a straightforward jumper - brave with a lovely rhythm and shape. She has done extensive farm miles and is pretty unflappable!

Holly was with us in Feb to find a home and was snapped up fast, however although perfect under saddle she has been a bit pushy on the ground for her non horsey family so is looking for a new home. We have had no issues but I would like her to go to a competent family so she can continue to be the star we know she will be!

A fantastic first season eventing for Champagne VWNZ finishing with a double clear for 2nd in the Penny Homes 1* L at the National Three Day 🥈

Champagne is a very classy 6yo mare by Carpaccio BDVZ X Showtym Celebration, bred and owned by Vicki Wilson. She had her first start in spring, stepped up to 1* for 3rd at Wellington in Autumn and has since had a win and two 2nds from three more 1* runs.

Strong in all three phases - beautiful, brave and straightforward- a very exciting mare for the future! 🩶

Thrilled to have Christopher Robin VWNZ win the Nz Warmblood Association Inc Young Event Horse Championship last weekend.

A very exciting 5 year old by Carpaccio BDVZ X Quiz Me VWNZ (Centavos) bred and owned by Vicki Wilson.

Chris has the most amazing temperament to match his movement and jump, and I have loved every minute producing him through his firsts this autumn!

Couture VWNZ (aka Calypso) who was on the team in spring also placed 5th with Mia Cadwallader, and Jess Thompson and our J Cruising won best TB.

Thank you to the class and show organisers and sponsors for running this awesome young horse class along side the three day event!

For those who have asked we’ve just added a couple of lesson spots on Monday and Tuesday afternoons.

Monday times are available on our ponies, beginner and intermediate level riders with our outside instructor.

Tuesday 3.30 and 4.15pm are available with Kate on either our or your horse.

Christopher Robin VWNZ stepped up to 95, double clear for 2nd on a 69.5% test 🤩

Fun fact - 3yrs ago I rode his brother Apollo for the first time, around the same event!

Chris is every bit as exciting, a stunning athlete by Carpaccio BDV, we all absolutely adore him 🥰

Christopher Robin VWNZ was the star of the show coming 2nd in his first 95cm Horse trial. This 5yr half brother to Apollo VWNZ and sired by Carpaccio BDVZ is the ultimate gentleman with huge movement and the most workman like attitude to life. He has been a real joy to produce and I'm sure Kate can say the same!

NZPCA Eventing Champs 2026 - this time with many different hats but as always a wonderful team of riders.

Team WW finishing a fantastic 3rd 🥉 with so many great individual performances to be proud of across the divisions 🌟 Awesome attitudes from our riders throughout the weekend, I love working with you all 💙
