We are a small clinic committed to providing an effective, affordable, personal and caring veterinary service for our clients and their owners. To achieve this we operate from premises purposefully designed with the welfare of your pet in mind. Apparently, this handsome boy had some strong feelings about his surgery consent form… so he decided to eat it. Please believe us when we say "The dog ate my homework".

When your pet comes in for a procedure, please take the time to read the consent form carefully before signing it. It’s important that you understand what you’re consenting to and that the information reflects your wishes for your pet.

And if someone else is dropping your pet off on your behalf, please make sure they know your instructions and understand what you have consented to.

We promise we’ll do our best to listen to your pet too… but sometimes the humans have to make the decisions! 😉

And don’t worry, this cheeky boy was perfectly fine! He was in with us for a routine procedure and headed home afterwards for some nice, warm cuddles.

Peaches is looking for her forever home, she's been waiting for 6 months now.
She was found in the bush pregnant. She gave birth to 8 beautiful puppies at the clinic, with the help of the team.

Peaches is quirky, funny, energetic, playful and LOVES her people once she gets to know them.
Her favourite things to do are rolling 30 times while out and about, long walks, the beach & the sea, and keeping you company while snoozing on the couch. She loves cuddles and connecting with you, she is very affectionate once she understands you are her person...

Peaches is 4 years old, an Australian Cattle Dog x Border Collie, and will thrive in an active household with no small children (teenagers fine). She would love an energetic male as her bestie, they would play all day (not mandatory).
She needs to stay in the Tauranga area for further FREE training and adjustment to her new home (mandatory)

Getting ready for Christmas? Don’t forget their vaccinations!

These two adorable puppies came in for their very first vaccinations, and what better way to celebrate than a Christmas cuddle with some festive teddy bears!

If you’re planning to put your pet into kennels or a cattery over the Christmas and New Year period, it’s important to check their vaccination status well ahead of time.

Many boarding facilities require pets to have current vaccinations before they can stay. Some vaccinations need to be given in advance of boarding, so leaving it until the last minute may mean your pet isn’t able to go. Christmas is a particularly busy time for kennels and catteries, so it’s worth getting organised early.

Take a moment now to check your pet’s vaccination records and contact us if they’re due for their next vaccination or you're not too sure.

A little planning now means you can enjoy a happy, healthy and stress-free Christmas with your pets!

This adorable little one came in for a check-up while in the care of Livvy's Pals. At just 4 weeks old, there’s still plenty of growing and learning to do, but this little pup is off to a great start!

We’re so proud to work alongside local rescues and be able to help care for animals in need as they get ready for their next chapter and hopefully find their forever homes.

With the beautiful spring weather outside, this little pup certainly brought some extra sunshine into the clinic! We think a puppy this cute is the perfect way to brighten up your feed too!

Snug as a bug!

This sweet patient enjoyed some extra cuddles with our receptionist while waking up from their anaesthetic. After an anaesthetic, pets can find it harder to regulate their body temperature, so keeping them warm and comfortable is an important part of their recovery.

During these colder months, we take extra care to help our patients stay cosy with warming blankets, warm bedding, and, of course, plenty of TLC. 💕

A little warmth goes a long way in helping our furry friends recover safely and comfortably. We think this stylish jacket suits him perfectly!
