This gorgeous girl came in for her routine check-up after being spayed last week and was an absolute sweetheart to see again.

Her personality is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Look at those stunning eye colours.

Did you know that having two different coloured eyes is called heterochromia? It’s commonly seen in breeds like Huskies, Border Collies, and Australian Shepherds!

What breed do you think this handsome little guy is?
We couldn’t resist sharing his cute pawtrait.

Just a puppy and he already has paws bigger than our hands.

A few hints:
• Ancient Italian guardian breed
• Famous for loose skin and heavy wrinkles
• Known for a huge blocky head
• Can weigh more than a grown man when fully grown

Who thinks they know the main breed of this guy?
Extra points if you guess what he may be crossed with.
Drop your guesses in the comments.

How cute are these little faces!

Over the past few weeks, we’ve had the absolute pleasure of caring for these adorable kittens as they came in to be desexed. Each one has been full of personality, cuddles, and just the right amount of mischief!

Desexing is an important step in helping prevent unwanted litters and keeping our pet community healthy and happy.

Big thanks to Livvy's Pals for trusting us with the care of some of your future furry family members, and for letting us share these cuties with you!

Which one is your favourite?

🦷 Dental Health Matters!

Did you know that poor dental health doesn’t just affect your pet’s mouth? Calculus build-up and gingivitis can lead to more serious issues like kidney disease and heart valve problems.

Keeping those teeth clean is a key part of your pet’s overall health and wellbeing.

Prevention tips:
• Raw bones 1–2 times weekly
• Hills t/d diet to help clean teeth
• Toothpaste – enzymatic action helps break down plaque
• Oral solutions (e.g. Aquadent)
• Dental chews (e.g. Whimzees)

Dogs and Cats can also undergo dental procedures where their teeth are scaled and polished under anaesthetic. Ongoing home care (like the tips above) is essential afterwards to keep those teeth clean and healthy.

And let’s be honest… with clean, pearly white teeth comes fresher breath and much nicer kisses.

Last week we had the privilege of welcoming a very special new arrival into the world

This beautiful French Bulldog mum came in for an elective caesarean, allowing us to safely assist her through delivery and give her puppy the best possible start to life. These procedures are carefully planned to reduce risks for both mum and baby, especially in breeds where natural delivery can be more challenging.

Mum did an amazing job and is now recovering comfortably, already showering her little one with love

A big congratulations to the proud owner, we’re so glad we could be part of this special moment!

Weight Management Matters

Did you know that keeping your pet at a healthy weight is one of the best things you can do for their overall health and wellbeing?

Extra weight doesn’t just slow them down, it can put added strain on joints, leading to arthritis, and increase the risk of other health conditions.

The good news? Even small weight loss can make a big difference!

Here are some tips to help your pet safely lose weight:
💙Measure meals accurately – no guessing!
💙 Cut back on treats
💙 Increase exercise gradually to suit your pet’s ability
💙 Stick to regular feeding times – avoid constant grazing
💙Frequent weigh-ins help track progress

Safe weight loss takes time, gradual changes and the right plan will give your pet the best results.

If you’re unsure about your pet’s weight or would like support, we’re here to help, pop in or give us a call.
