Hi everyone! Just a quick, friendly reminder for all my lovely clients: You’re more than welcome to park on the street or on the grass in front of number 24 (that’s our spot!). Just a small ask, please avoid parking in my neighbor’s driveway, as it can set off their dog. Meet Dobby!
Dobby, the bichon mix, had a tough time at his grooming appointment 2 weeks ago. He found it a bit scary, which affected his behaviour, so we stopped the groom, and let his owners know why we couldn’t finish that day. I suggested some desensitisation grooming sessions, the goal here isn’t to groom Dobby but show him how much fun it can be, how yummy the treats are here and how lovely me and the team are. We played, we sniffed around, we cuddled and we had some nice talks. I snipped a few more hairs that I couldn’t get at the last groom and then ended the session with a big play time!
I am so thankful Dobby’s owners are understanding and happy to let me me help Dobby enjoy grooms.
