With all this fickle spring weather it's easy to get caught out in a sudden shower - make sure to dry your pets off well when you get in. Pay close attention to their paws, underbelly, and skin folds to prevent moisture-loving fungal and bacterial infections developing. This also applies for after a swim 🌦️🌊

Kitten season is here! Despite local desexing campaigns, many stray cats remain un-desexed, so expect a surge of unwanted kittens this spring.

If you find outdoor kittens, watch from a distance for 4-5 hours to see if mom returns—nursing is vital. Only move them if they are in an unsafe spot, keep them warm (don’t feed them), and call for help. Contact a rescue or vet if abandoned, sick, or injured.

If you are considering adding to your fur family, please consider getting in touch with one of the many local rescues helping these little guys.

Sasha first came to visit us as a very tiny puppy. She had been rescued and was in need of a lot of love and care. It was a joyful reunion in reception on her most recent visit! We were excited to see how much she has grown and how happy she is with her new owner and well she was excited for all the treats and cuddles! 🥰
