The Ardmore Vet We are a small animal Veterinary practice. All this and still only a few minutes from the local centres of Papakura, Takanini, Clevedon, and Manurewa/Manukau.

The Ardmore Vet is surrounded by the beautiful hills of Brookby and Clevedon, and the practice enjoys stunning scenery. With many years of experience, our vets and nurses are skilled in handling your furry friend and fully trained in all areas of veterinary medicine. By making our clinic as stress-free as possible. 🛁🐾 Bath time doesn’t have to be ruff! A few simple tips can make it stress-free for both you and your furry friend:

✔️ Use lukewarm water – not too hot, not too cold
✔️ Choose a pet-safe shampoo
✔️ Brush before and after to avoid tangles
✔️ Gently dry them off – especially in cooler weather

Make sure your pets stay cosy and safe this winter:

✔️ Provide warm bedding away from draughts
✔️ Keep walks shorter on icy days
✔️ Watch for signs of stiffness or joint pain in older pets
✔️ Make sure outdoor pets have proper shelter

This sweet little kitten was so sleepy after her playtime, that she zonked out with her face squished against the cage bars 🥹💕
Perhaps not the comfiest sleeping position… but definitely one of the cutest.

The Ardmore Vet will be closed from Saturday 30th May to Monday 1st June for King’s Birthday. We’ll reopen on Tuesday with our normal hours. 🐶🐱

⚠️ If your pet has an emergency while we’re closed, please contact your nearest after-hours emergency vet.
