She has been trained by us from the start and has been to her 1st few shows, coping amazingly with the environments and doing very well coming home Reserve Champ L1 Central Districts and Wellington Champs. She is training leg yield, shoulder in, travers at walk, trot and canter.
She is a very talented, responsive and a pretty mare. Sug loves her work, is very forward with a very active hind leg. She has great paces, including a fabulous canter.

Harvest Grains Dressage Waikato Premier league was run under such trying conditions, but for us we still got to run the two boys Irish Coffee and Papanui Just Dynamite as they competed inside.

Saturday was Zilco musical for them both and it was also the final as there is no HOY this year. Irish and I got to ride through our new music which was so fun and we absolutely love it, it happens to be all AI generated music so completely unique for us! How cool it that 🤯 Irish won the medium tour with 69% and also won the Zilco musical series for the year! 🏆🏆
Donny really blow me away with how relaxed and rideable he was and sooo with me. I had never competed him at Taupo before so didn’t know what to expect but he felt very good. Donny won both his tests over the week end, highlight being his musical with 71.65%. He also won the Zilco Musical series for the year for Small Tour 🏆🏆🏆

Thank you to the committee and all the volunteers that trudged on through the week end with limited shows to go to this year it was great to get in another one.

Thank you to all that supported me and the boys over the weekend! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Well done to Brooklyn for doing her first Grand Prix on Snickers at only 17 you are doing so well and we are really proud of you! 🤩

Thank you to my amazing owners that continue to support and encourage me it means so much! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Finally thanks to my ever supportive sponsors I feel incredibly lucky to have you in my corner and backing us! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

It’s been 8 months since I last competed in a Premier league due to my neck injury, so Central Districts Premier League was a bit of a personal milestone for me. It’s been a pretty tough road to get back to where I am, and I am sooo grateful to every single person who has helped me along the way! There are too many to mention but without a doubt I could not have gotten through it without you all. ❤️❤️❤️

Papanui Just Dynamite (Donny) did us proud with some real highlights both days winning both his Inter 1 musical and PSG, 70% and 68% and taking home Champion Small tour. 🏆

Southern Star Seraphim also made us super proud, being his first away show he got better every test, with a highlight getting 73.8% in his last Prelim test and winning all three of his tests to take home Champion. 🏆

Sugar and Spice owned by Michelle Middelberg, who only had her first outing last weekend. Sugar got better every test and managed to cope with all the puddles. She came home with Reserve Champion to our own Seraphim. 🏆

We have produced both of these two young horses from home by getting them broken in then we have brought them on ourselves to this point which is something we are really proud of. 🤩

Thank you to CD committee for a super organised show even in difficult weather!! 🥶

Thank you to James and Michelle for all their help over the show and leading up to it, and Brooky for your daily care of the horses and staying home to look after the rest of the team. Thank you to my very special owners! Teamwork makes the dream work. 💪🏻🥰

Lastly thank you to my amazing sponsors that continue to support me even through my injury and absence from competition. I’m truly lucky and truly grateful to them for their belief and support! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

We had a great start to 2025 season at the Eastwood Motor Group Wairarapa Champs.
Irish coffee has stepped up to Medium tour, still a little green but really pleased with his progress. We managed a 2nd in the Musical and 1st in the Inter B to come home with Champion Medium tour level.
A new horse to our team we are super excited about is Papanui Just Dynamite. He was beautifully trained and owned by Penny Pearce so I feel very honoured to have the ride. We didn’t know what to expect as it was our first show and only 6 weeks of owning him, but he felt really good in the ring and won all three of his tests scores up to 70% in the Advanced level.
Salsa S is also new face to our team this season. She is owned by Belinda Stuchbery and I previously rode Salsa S mother (Jaybee Jazzmin) for the Stuchbery’s aswell. She competed in the Novice level winning the musical on 72% and coming home with Reserve Champion.

Thank you to all my owners who continue to support me and our whole team. Thank you to all the amazing people that helped on show day as we had 5 horses competing between myself, Rachel (stepped up to Advanced Medium woohoo 🥳) and James in the GP.
Last but definitely not least MASSIVE thank you to my amazing sponsors
The major sponsor of the show and myself, so lucky to have the D-Max
My super comfy and super close contact saddles, could not do without. Plus my new helmet which super helpful on a hot sunny day.
My newest sponsor, can’t wait for my new Cavallo boots!
The stockist of the Activomed rugs and Equiband systems we use everyday to help the horse preform on top form.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Irish Coffee won the National Super 5 Series for this last season. It is the highest average percentage over the whole country for Advanced level, we won with an average percentage of 73.3%. Feel so grateful to have Irish in our team and to his wonderful supportive owners. Can’t wait till next season, bring on winter training! Eastwood Motor Group Maddox Equestrian Hygain Antarès Sellier Thank you to my amazing sponsors 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 And to my special team at home that make this all happen ❤️❤️❤️

As we approach Waikato Champs, HOY and Nationals I just wanna say how I feel so lucky to be sponsored by the most generous and genuine people. Not only to they support me but they support local events, it was the Eastwood Motor Group Wairarapa Premier League a couple weeks ago. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I competed Irish Coffee in the Advanced level, which he was 1st in all three of his tests taking out Champion Advanced.
We also took along Fom Fairytale HK (Fiona) and she was foot perfect and highlight was her musical which she scored 73.3%.
Wairarapa area also won the teams challenge which is the first time in 10 years 🥳🥳🥳
It was also great to see so many of my past horses doing so well, Aphrodite and James were Champion Grand Prix and Joniro and Francesca Masfen Champion Advanced Medium. 🥳🥳🥳
Thank you to my owners in the Irish Coffee syndicate and Fiona’s owner Renai Hart for their continued support. Thanks to my team who make everything happen behind the scenes. Thank you to my amazing sponsors
Thank you to the committee and volunteers for their hours of work to make this show happen. 🥂🥂🥂

Taking a moment to take in the last week at Takapoto. Wow what an amazing show, we are so lucky to have one like this to go to so thank you team ORO Dressage by the Lake
I’m so proud of our team and all my students, it’s so satisfying to be apart of them kicking their goals.
I’m also super proud of our beautiful Irish Coffee. I have to admit I was quite nervous leading up to this show not knowing how he would handle the atmosphere but he blew me away with how he just soaked it all in and got better and better. It’s no secret that we have been working on his competition anxiety and I feel he’s really starting to put that energy into his work, using it in a positive way.
Irish came away with three out of three wins and a new PB in our Freestyle of 76.58% in the Advanced level. (Thank you Lilly Jefferies for my new music)
I feel so lucky to ride a horse like him and even luckier that we are really starting to build a partnership.
Thank you to all the amazing helpers this week, James, Rachel, Katy, Sarah x2, Oliver, Rebecca. And everyone else that helped make this week happen. Thank you to my amazing Irish Coffee syndicate for believing in us and supporting all the way. ❤️🙏🏻 Thanks Soph and Della for looking after team at home. Thank you to my coach Vanessa Way . Finally thanks to my amazing sponsors Antarès Sellier Maddox Equestrian Hygain Eastwood Motor Group 📸by Libby Law Photography - NZL

I’m slowly learning to control the power of this horse, it’s always a fine line between energy, power and softness.
Irish Coffee was Mr Consistent at the Bay of Plenty Dressage Champs, scoring 72%, 73% and 73% and winning Advanced Champion.
It was such a great weekend with great weather, good friends and family around. So proud of our little team, Rachel coming home with Champion Medium Bronze Championship and James and Snix Reserve Champion Medium Tour.
Thank you to the BOP committee for a great show. Thanks to Rachel, James and Sarah for looking after the horses. Special thanks Jude for making the trip over from Aus to visit. Thank you to the support from the Irish Coffee syndicate, we are so excited for his future.
Thank you to my amazing sponsors

Dressage Central Districts ran a great show last weekend. All our horses were excited to be out and about!!
Fom Fairytale HK ( Fiona) is growing in confidence and stepped up to Novice at her first Premier League show. She ended up with 3 seconds and Reserve Champion Novice. Highlight being her first ever musical scoring 74%.
Irish Coffee is also improving in lots of different ways, in his work but also in his confidence. He used to find music quite scary but this weekend he felt at ease with the musicals playing alongside his arena. He won all three classes over 70% and won Champion Advanced.
Another super special moment was watching and helping James and Aphrodite compete in their first show together. They did some awesome work and came home with the win, can’t wait to see what they can achieve this season.
Thank you to all the owners involved to help me achieve these goals, the Irish Coffee syndicate and Fiona’s owner, Renai Hart. 🙏🏻 Thank you to Rachel and Sarah Hucker and James for looking after and turning out the horses so well! ❤️Thank you to my amazing sponsors
Well done to all my students and pupils, so proud of you all. Photos courtesy of EJ Photography

Blew the cobwebs out with the first show of the season at Wairarapa Spring show. Irish Coffee producing a PB on 75.66% in the Advanced, I was so pleased with his progress we finished on that note and saved him for another day. A new member to the team recently is Fom Fairytale HK (Fiona), our first show together and she preformed beautifully growing in confidence each time scoring 74% and 75% in the Preliminary. Thank you to Rachel and James for turning them out so beautifully even though the weather was less than ideal! Thank you to my amazing sponsors 📸 JH Photography
Thanks to Wairarapa dressage for another great show.
Looking forward to the rest of the season.
