I saw this and loved it !! How awesome to bring some humour and light to the dog registration season, I replied to their post from Bodhi
My dearest Lady Whistledane,
Your most welcome correspondence has been received with great delight. It is with immense pleasure that I can confirm our esteemed canines in question have indeed been duly registered.
Society may now rest easy, for the matter has been settled with all the grace and efficiency one would expect from a lady of your standing.
Yours most faithfully,
Lord Bodhi of the TransFURmations Grooming Ton 🐾
Dearest Gentle Hoomans,
It has come to this author's attention that a matter of great consequence is once again upon us. No, not the scandalous affair involving the Labrador and the neighbour's rubbish bin. Nor the rather unfortunate incident at the dog park involving a stolen shoe.
I speak, of course, of 𝐝𝐨𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧.
While I would be delighted to attend to such administrative matters myself, nature has cruelly denied me the use of opposable thumbs. Thus, I must rely upon my faithful hoomans to carry out these duties on behalf of the district's distinguished canines.
News travels quickly through the dog park, and I am informed that registration notices have been dispatched to all registered dog owners and 𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐧𝐨 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝟏𝟎 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞.
Should a new member have recently joined your household and canine society, a fresh registration form shall be required. Such documents may be obtained from the Council or retrieved from the website.
And let it be known throughout the ton that registrations and payments must be completed before 1 August, lest late fees make an unwelcome appearance.
A well-registered dog is a well-respected dog. A dog whose registration is overdue? Well... Lady Whistle-Dane would never gossip.
Or would she?
Yours faithfully,
Lady Whistle-Dane 🐾
