I have recently updated my website :

I have retained historical content and some details from my previous equine business and home of 35 years at Chester Farm Paeroa.
It will give those of you who aren't aware of my historical background in the Equestrian industry and family connection to horses from a very early age.
I still own my beautiful Stallion "Charles" ( Vollrath Chagall) , pictured during my recent visit, who is 23 years old now and looking and feeling as bright and happy as ever !
He is living out his retirement at Te Horo under the expert management of Carolyn Jolly and her team.
I visit him whenever I can with carrots 🥕 ( when I remember!!)

While I now live in Collingwood in the amazing Golden Bay 🌞, I still works regularly with my ConTact C.A.R.E work from my Paraparaumu base.
I have scheduled visits in November , December 2025 and January 2026 so please dont hesitate to contact me to see how I can help you.

Last week we lost Mum who was very well known amongst the Chester Farm community.
Mum was a regular judge at our twilight showjumping for over 40 years in the Thames Valley.
She was also the Maramarua Hunt Secretary for 25 years and judged showjumping throughout the North Island during the 90,s and 2000,s

Many of the visitors to Chester Farm, in recent years, were greeted at the gate by Larry, the boxer dog.
He was always happy to greet anyone and be ready to play or hang out or clean up the bbq scraps, too!
He was well taught by his old mate Barney, who started the tradition before handing the responsibility over to Larry in 2015.

Larry, sadly, recently passed away at the age of 10, and we have many special memories left from his presence at the farm.
He and I experienced a lot of life and traveled all over the North Island together over those 10 years, and he is sadly missed by me and his little buddy Shelby, too .
They leave a big hole in our lives when they leave, but we are so lucky to be able to share their unconditional love and such wonderful times with them !
