As the years end is getting closer we would like to thank all of our customers both old and new for your loyalty.
Over the Christmas and New Year period we will closing our Paeroa clinic. We will be closed from the 25th December 2025 until the 5th of January 2026. This is so our dedicated team can spend time with family and have a well deserved rest.
Both our Ngatea and Thames clinics will be open for any any emergencies.

Hi guys, so my name is Saylor and I just wanted to jump on and say a huge thank you to Dr Natalie and Nurse Wendy ( aka Aunty Wendy and Aunty Natalie) for taking such good care of me when I came in for my desexing surgery. I was soo scared mum had to carry me in. 😢 but Dr Natalie and Aunty Wendy took such good care of me that when I came back to get my stitches out I was so excited and so well behaved I got sooooo many treats.
Highly recommend Hauraki Vets Paeroa to all my K9 and Feline friends ❤️❤️

IT'S BACK!!!!!! Starting 30th July 2025 the new Snip' n' Chip campaign for our area will be open for you to claim vouchers. SPCA Snip'n'Chip vouchers are for desexing & microchipping your Feline Fur babies at huge discounted prices.
Simply go online to spca.nz website. Click desex -select the Bay of Plenty Region and this will take you through the process, just remember to select Hauraki Vets, Paeroa, Thames or Ngatea.
N.B: Thames, Coromandel and surrounding area's are in the Bay of Plenty Campaign this starts on 30th July 25, you will not be able to claim vouchers until then.

Does anyone recognize this beautiful big boy?.
Entire male, very friendly and smoochy. Unfortunately not microchipped.
He's taken up residence at a lovely ladies place in the Towers Street area. Could possibly have traveled across from Norwood Avenue?

UPDATE: OWNERS HAVE BEEN FOUND
We have just had a very sweet little dog brought into our clinic as she was running across the main road. No microchip, collar or tags.

If any one is missing a little dog pleas contact us. Proof of ownership will be required

This poor wee darling was brought into our clinic today after being found in the wider Paeroa area. She is a real sweetheart and has possibly been dumped because she's pregnant, injured and very malnourished.She's not microchipped. Currently receiving vet care and stay with an awesome foster family.
If you or anyone knows who her hoomans are please let us know as we want the best outcome for her.
