About Us
We are a busy, friendly, and growing pet salon dedicated to making dogs look great and feel safe. We love animals, treat every pup like family, and take pride in our high standard of care. We are looking for a skilled dog groomer to join our long standing warm and supportive team.
What You Will Do
- Bathe, dry, brush, and prep dogs of all shapes and sizes.
- Perform breed-standard cuts, hand-stripping, or custom styling.
- Check skin, ears, and nails and report any health issues to owners.
- Handle all dogs safely, gently, and with a calm attitude.
- Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized.
- What We Need From You
- Proven hands-on dog grooming experience (portfolio or reference photos a plus).
- A gentle, patient, and loving way with all kinds of dogs.
- Good people skills to chat with pet owners.
- Ability to work well on your own and as part of a team.
- Relevant certification or training in animal care/grooming is a bonus.
- Personal grooming scissors, clippers and general kit. We can discuss supplying these.

Job title: Junior Dog Groomer and Bather
You will help wash, dry, and prep dogs of all sizes while learning professional grooming skills. No prior experience is needed, but a true love for dogs is a must.
Type: Part-time available - weekdays Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10am-2pm. School holidays negotiable
Rates: ($23.95 - $25) Depending on skills and experience
What You Will Do:
- Bathe and massage dogs safely.
- Blow-dry and brush out coats.
- Trim nails and clean ears.
- Keep the salon clean and tidy.
- Handle dogs with care and patience.
- Update booking system and grooming notes
- Greet customers and dogs as they enter the shop.
- Returning dogs to customers at the end of their groom.
- Taking bookings and payments.
- Providing support to the Senior Groomers
