We are excited to announce the safe arrival of Margot’s puppies.

Beautiful blue roan Cocker Spaniel puppies from quality show lines.

Puppies are being raised in our home and will be available to approved homes from late July.

Limited puppies are available to selected homes.

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a puppy.

These puppies are being sold as pets only. They are not available for breeding or showing.

Margot has begun settling into the whelping box, and yesterday’s x-ray confirmed we are expecting 5 puppies.

We are incredibly excited for this upcoming litter.

🐾 Exciting news at Kalaugher!

We are expecting two litters 💛

Kalaugher is a small home-based Cocker Spaniel breeder in Weston, North Otago, New Zealand. We are dedicated to preserving correct breed type, sound temperament, and long-term health, with our dogs raised as part of the family and regularly shown in the conformation ring.

Our breeding combines carefully selected Australian and New Zealand bloodlines, chosen for quality, balance, and temperament. We breed only occasionally, usually when retaining a puppy for our own show team, with remaining puppies placed in carefully chosen homes.

All breeding dogs are comprehensively DNA health tested for PRA-prcd, FN (AHRN), and AON, ensuring no puppy bred at Kalaugher will be affected by these hereditary conditions.

Raised inside our home, our puppies receive extensive early socialisation and exposure to everyday household life, children, and other animals for a confident, well-adjusted start.

Puppies will be registered with Dogs New Zealand and sold with endorsements. They will be microchipped, vaccinated, vet checked, and well socialised, with ongoing support provided.

Puppies will be ready to join their new families around the weekend of 18–19 July 2026.
