Another long term guest, who went home just last weekend after having stayed with us since September 5th, Smudge really seemed to enjoy her holiday. We'd been told that Smudge didn't like other cats, but she quickly got used to lovely Gracie and sweet Timmy as neighbours. The first photo shows Smudge lounging on her deck chair while Gracie and Timmy relaxed on their catio. The other photos are an example of how laid back Smudge was, as she enjoyed her extended holiday with us 😻

Patsy spent last weekend with us, in one of our Apartments, which are ideal for special needs guests. Patsy had injured her leg just days before her stay with us and needed to be in strict confinement. She was heavily medicated, as in the first 3 photos. We also gave Patsy a heat pad to lay on, to help with the pain relief. The last 6 photos show Patsy, resting on the heat pad, drifting off to sleep as I sing her a lullaby. Patsy seemed to appreciate it, but thankfully for you, there is no audio with the images 😉

More long term guests, this couple are Gracie and Timmy. They spent all of September on holiday here and we loved having them 🥰

We're missing this beautiful boy big time! Dexter stayed with us from Aug 26th to Oct 8th. We were happy to upgrade Dexter to the 'Family Suite' for his holiday. He had the whole place to himself and loved every minute of it. Dexter is a British Short-hair and with his plush, dense, double coat, benefits from regular brushing. We both enjoyed those sessions 🥰

Adorable Arnie is a regular guest. He is a sweet-natured and affectionate soul, who loves nothing better than a big brush session and full body massage! Arnie is a V.I.P. (Very Important Pussycat) 😸 Here’s some photos of Arnie enjoying his accommodation and catio in Catz Club. Arnie is also checking out his new neighbours, Lulu and Ricky from the vantage point of his window 😊

The 4th of September 2026 marks our 2nd Anniversary at Sentry Hill Cattery. We really have had the best couple of years imaginable. It’s all thanks to the continued support from our loyal customers and the sweet affection from their wonderful fur babies, not to mention the wholehearted encouragement from our friends and family. We’ve really loved our time here and continue to do so. With these faces and many more coming through our doors, what’s not to love 🥰

We had a fantastic time at the 2026 Taranaki Pet Expo, held yesterday at the Plymouth International. It was a great venue and a well-organized event. There was a good turnout, with a steady stream of Visitors from doors opening until closing time. We met some lovely new people and were very happy to see a few of our valued customers too. It was such a pleasure when Jan, Charmaine and Keith, then Adith and Clare with their 2 daughters came up for a chat. We enjoyed the company of loads of children yesterday, who seemed drawn to our display. We are very proud to have been one of the Exhibitors and will keenly look forward to the next event 🤩

3 Turkish Angora sisters, Ahla, Ayva & Beyaz during their first holiday with us. They don't always get along, so had booked 3 separate, but adjoining Catz Club suites. They all enjoyed their separate catios & each others company from 'afar' while sunning themselves & snoozing on their deck chairs 😻
