This was a wonderful case recently shared by St Aubyn Vet Clinic / New Plymouth Vet Group, that shows how awesome it can be having Taranaki vet clinics working together. Little Lottie stayed with us at A+ Vet for 2 nights, being transferred back to her normal clinic each morning.

She arrived to us at A+ Vet at 2am on the first night, under anaesthetic, hypothermic, with a very low heart rate and still critically unwell. Our team stayed up all night with her, continued monitoring her anaesthesia, and she slowly warmed up and stabilised overnight. Our dedicated nurse Jess then drove her back to NPVG in the morning – still with a breathing tube inserted and under anaesthesia – so that she could be transferred directly back to their care.

Lottie’s case is an example of one of the many reasons why we are here – and why we are so glad to be working with other Taranaki vet clinics to provide the best possible care for pets in Taranaki. We don’t get much sleep – but these beautiful pets and happy outcomes make it all worth it! Thank you to St Aubyn Vet Clinic for working with us. We are so happy to hear that Lottie is doing well – read her lovely story below 😊
