Hole Diggers Dog Spa is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified; you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with these Terms & Conditions. Hole Diggers Dog Spa may change this policy from time to time and will update clients should it do so. ARRIVING & LEAVING
We have instigated a system in order to keep our Client’s family members safe. Please make sure the double gates are used by shutting the 1st gate before opening the 2nd. If the failure to do so results in the release of any dogs , there may be costs involved. Name,

What we do with the information we gather
Your information is primarily used for internal record keeping. We may phone, text, or mail you regarding your pet’s past or future appointments. From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email or phone. In an emergency we may share your information with your specified Vet, Dog Ranger or Police. In the event we are unable to contact your specified vet we may share your information with a trusted but unspecified vet. We will not provide your information to any third party not specified above for any other purpose without your express permission. PET BEHAVIOUR
We reserve the right to exercise our discretion and refuse to groom aggressive or difficult dogs, including dogs with behavioural problems. The owner must agree to inform us if their dog is known to be aggressive, has ever bitten anyone or displays any other kind of behavioural problem. The owner understands that they will be legally liable for the consequences of all injuries caused by their dog. If a dog shows a tendency toward excessive aggression during the groom, we reserve the right to employ a soft muzzle. If we are unable to complete a groom due to any of the abovementioned behaviours or injuries, the owner agrees to pay for any work that precedes the behaviour or injury. MATTED FUR/GROOMING BEHAVIOUR
Short de-matting grooming sessions are available at an extra cost and the owner agrees to pay the cost whether or not the groomer can complete the job. If your dog has, in our opinion, a severely matted coat, our policy is to remove the coat by shaving close to the skin using electric clippers. This can in some cases cause skin irritation or skin nicks from the close shaving, This can also occur whilst grooming due to bad behaviour while on the table. The client agrees that Hole Diggers Dog Spa will not be held responsible for any ensuing consequences. PET WELFARE
We will carry out a health check before and during the grooming session and will notify the owner of anything we find. It will be the owner’s responsibility to seek veterinary advice. We are not medical professionals and our health checks do not replace the need to take your dog to the vets for check-ups, advice, and treatment. If any parasites are found during the grooming session the client agrees for them to be cleared at the client’s expense plus any subsequent costs for cleaning and decontamination. If the pet’s health causes urgent concern, the client authorises Hole Diggers Dog Spa to obtain veterinary treatment at the client’s expense. Cancellation and Rescheduling of Appointments
Please give us a minimum of 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment. We understand plans can change, but missed appointments may incur a fee due to loss of time, travelling costs, and the inability to fill the appointment at short notice. This is at our discretion. PHOTOGRAPHS
For purposes of promoting Hole Diggers Dog Spa, photos may be taken of the dogs being groomed to demonstrate services and quality of work carried out. These may be used on Social Media and are posted onto the Hole Diggers Dog Spa page. Permission, in each instance, is always asked for before doing so. CONSENT & RELEASE
Hole Diggers Dog Spa require each client, on their first visit, to complete a standard Consent & Release Form for each doggy family member before commencement of services. This includes but is not limited to information regarding your own details, together with details of your pet’s known medical conditions and/or medications. Please be advised that this information is used solely for ensuring the safety and best possible grooming experience for both you and your pet.
