🐾 WE'RE HIRING – ISLINGTON & NELSON!
We're looking for two friendly, reliable and enthusiastic people to join our Canterbury Pet Food Co. team!
We have Saturday Retail Assistant positions available at both of our stores:
📍 Islington, Christchurch – Saturdays 9am–4pm
📍 Nelson – Saturdays 9am–4pm
Both positions have the potential for additional weekday hours.
We're not your typical pet food store! Each of our shops has its own unique style and personality, and we're proud of the welcoming atmosphere we've created.
As a family-owned New Zealand business specialising in quality raw pet food, we're passionate about great products, genuine customer service and doing things a little differently.
We're looking for people who:
Have a friendly, outgoing personality and genuinely enjoy helping customers
Are honest, reliable and confident working independently
Have a positive attitude and plenty of initiative
Take pride in keeping the store looking its best
Are comfortable with some lifting and physical work
Have an interest in animals and their wellbeing
Can offer some flexibility for additional shifts when needed
The roles involve serving customers, processing sales, restocking freezers and helping with the day-to-day running of the stores.
Previous retail experience would be an advantage, but it's not essential. We're happy to train the right people!
Sound like you? We'd love to hear from you!
