Time to show off your fur babies 😎📸
Did you know all of the animals that come in to visit us can have a 'profile pic'? We love seeing your gorgeous pets in the clinic, but it's safe to say we're not always seeing them at their best... they might be covered in peanut butter or rocking a cone of shame, and we'd MUCH prefer to see them in their happy places!
We 🩷 when clients send us pics of their dogs on walkies, or their cats hanging out in the sunshine. Profile pictures are also a super handy tool for our whole team, as they aid with patient familiarity.
Send us yours today, either via email to [email protected] or as a Facebook message.
Just make sure you get their good side...

As Veterinary Nursing Awareness Month comes to an end, we wanted to shout out our amazing nurses and celebrate the incredible compassion and empathy they bring to all of our patients. 🩺🐾

From anaesthesia monitoring and surgical support to diagnostics, inpatient care, and client education, our nurses play such a vital role in your pet's health and welfare, often behind the scenes.

It's not just their hard work that we're grateful for - each nurse fills our clinics with joy, knowledge, and laughter every single day. Thank you for your skill, dedication, and the incredible care you provide to our patients and clients 💙

CERTIFICATE OF AWESOMENESS TIME.
Miki was in for a laparoscopic spey at our Saxton clinic. Thanks to her regal good looks, she was the deserving winner of our award for 'Most Elegant' pooch💃

We're one of the few clinics in the country to offer laparoscopic speys. This is a much less invasive ‘keyhole’ procedure for desexing female dogs, and studies have estimated 65% less pain than a traditional spey.

This gorgeous girl is Twiggy 🐶

She’s a five-and-a-half-year-old SPCA rescue, who was fortunate enough to find her forever home with the lovely Lindsey and Andy. Twiggy has shown incredible resilience over the last couple of years – after not one but TWO cruciate repair surgeries, she’s now helping her dad train for the Sky Tower Challenge!

Twiggy’s ortho surgery was performed by our incredible orthopaedic surgeon Dr Adam Stanyer, and she’s also had physio sessions with some of our amazing nurses. Every single member of our team has been so touched by Twiggy’s sweet nature and joyful resilience, and we are delighted to have been a part of her recovery journey. 🐾

It’s Veterinary Receptionist Appreciation Week, and we’re taking a moment to recognise the incredible people who are often your very first point of contact with us 💙

From friendly greetings at the front desk to helping coordinate appointments, answering questions, and supporting both pets and their people through all kinds of moments, our reception team does it all with care, patience, and compassion.

A huge thank you to Ivy, Zara, Elaine, Amy, Grace O, and Tamsyn for everything you do each day. Your calm presence, kindness, and dedication make a real difference to our clients, their pets, and our whole team.

This week (and every week), we appreciate you more than words can say.

It's nearly Easter 🐰

In 2025, we had multiple emergency call-outs for suspected poisonings and chocolate ingestion. Of course, we want you to enjoy the celebrations (and overindulge to your heart’s content!) but please do all that you can to keep your pets safe over the long weekend…

🐾 Keep all chocolates, lollies, and other toxins away from your pets. If in doubt, pop them in the fridge, or on a nice high shelf, and don’t leave any treats unattended!

🐾 If you suspect your pet has ingested something they shouldn’t have, it's a medical emergency. Phone us immediately on 5445678 (Saxton) OR 5469646 (Victory). You’ll be put through to the on-call vet who will treat your case as a priority.

🐾 Lastly, keep an eye out for other less typical hazards, including flowers (lilies are particularly toxic for cats) and plastic packaging, which – if swallowed – can cause blockages.

Look after your pawsome pups, fabulous felines, and brilliant bunnies. And have an egg-cellent long break! 🐣
