Four more superstar puppies graduating from Puppy Preschool! 🎓🐾

A huge congratulations to Poppy, Loki, Luna, and Kora for completing their Puppy Preschool journey. These four have all grown so much in confidence, learnt some fantastic new skills, and built such lovely relationships with their humans along the way. 💙

From learning the basics to navigating new experiences, every puppy has worked so hard and should be incredibly proud of themselves. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for these clever pups! 🐶✨

🐾 Keeping Tamariki Safe Around Dogs 🐾

This is such an important topic and a fantastic initiative by Nelson City Council.

I feel incredibly honoured to be involved in a project that combines one of my many canine related passions—helping children and dogs build safe, positive relationships.

This week, Emily and I are delivering 10 separate presentations to classes at Nayland Primary School, following a wonderful visit to Nelson Central Kindergarten last week.

Teaching tamariki how to safely interact with dogs is one of the most valuable ways we can help prevent bites and create respectful, confident relationships between children and our canine companions.

This program is FREE for schools, kindergartens and community groups under Nelson City Council. 🐶💙👧👦

Do you remember Scruff, one of our foster puppies from last year? 🐾💙

I caught up with this handsome boy—now known as Chester—last week, and wow, what a transformation! 😍

It is incredibly heartwarming to see our foster puppies thrive and grow into such beautiful, happy adult dogs. Chester has truly blossomed into a stunning dog with the sweetest nature, and it is clear he absolutely landed on his feet with his forever family. 🏡✨

Watching these puppies go from uncertain beginnings to living their very best lives is something really special. 💕

Wow, what a fun-filled weekend we had! 🎉🐾

A huge congratulations to all of these superstars who graduated from a range of our classes this weekend. Watching each team grow in confidence, strengthen their skills, and build an even better relationship together is always such a rewarding experience. 💙

How has this gorgeous boy not found his forever home yet?! 😍🐾

We’ve had the absolute pleasure of having Bear at puppy preschool over the past few weeks, and wow… what a superstar he is ⭐️

Bear is such a clever, adaptable pup. He loves a good wrestle with the bigger dogs, but is just as gentle and calm with the little ones — a rare and beautiful balance 💛

He’s also ticking all the boxes at home:
✔️ Toilet trained
✔️ Crate trained
✔️ Knows his basics
✔️ Listens beautifully, even with distractions

Honestly, he’s the total package and ready to slot right into a loving home 🏡

Frankie is being rehomed through no fault of her own. She is a six year old lowchen x poodle (well, 6 in May). She is an absolute sweetheart with a lot of love and life in her heart. Frankie knows what she wants and knows how to get it - mostly using her cute good looks and puppy eyes. Frankie’s is on medication to help with mild anxiety.
She is desexed and fully vaccinated, does daycare but lives as an only child. She’s okay with other dogs but doesn’t generally play with them and can a bit wary of big dogs. She can also be wary of new people, but once she loves you, she really loves you. Frankie is crate trained, and while she loves her crate, she definitely prefers to spend her nights cuddled in bed with her humans. Frankie is a huge toy lover, and is absolutely ball obsessed. She will do anything for a treat (except shake hands).
