Short Bark and Sides - NZ

👶🏻 Exciting news… Helen who has worked with me for 8 years will be heading off on maternity leave at the beginning of August as she gets ready to welcome her little one, who’s due in mid-August! 🍼

We’re really excited for her, and we’ll definitely miss having her here - and we know lots of you will too.

The other good news is there won’t be any disruption to appointments while she’s away as Nicole has been grooming with us for the last few months will be keeping everything running smoothly.

Helen is planning to be back in February, and we can’t wait to have her back then.

If you’re in to see us before Helen heads off, be sure to wish her well as she starts this exciting new adventure. We know she’ll love seeing all the familiar faces before she finishes up.

Congratulations, Helen and Troy - we’re so happy for you and can’t wait to meet your little bundle of joy! 👶🏻

☀️🎄 Summer’s here and Christmas will be here before we know it!

Appointments are filling up, so if you would like a time that suits (and not midnight Christmas Eve 😅), it’s a good idea to get your dog booked in soon.

Looking forward to seeing you over the next few weeks. We are also here after Christmas through New Year too.

OFFICIALLY ADOPTED:

Due to overwhelming interest in Lilo. We are not currently taking anymore applications. We have a lot to work through with families arranged to meet her next weekend. We will update once we have met all these people. Thank you for understanding.

Please message the good people if you would love to meet me:

Lilo aka mama is available for pre adoption. Lilo will be available to go to a new home in 14 days as she has just been desexed today 18/07/2025.

Lilo is 3 years old & is a Cairn Terrier x Border Terrier x
Desexed
Fully vaccinated
Microchipped
Up to date with worm & flea treatments
Comes with 30 days free pet insurance with Pet-n-Sur
Lilo has a beautiful sweet nature & is eager to please. She knows sit & stay & walks nicely on a lead. Lilo has lots of energy so would benefit from being in an active home. She could also use some extra training as she gets excited out on walks. Lilo is good with other dogs & has been around cats.

Please note we do not operate on a first come first served basis and will wait to find the right forever home for each animal.

If anyone can offer Lilo a loving forever home where she would be an inside pet with outside fenced access, please message us.
