Meet Misty, a lovely mature girl looking for a new home where she can enjoy life and be part of a family. ❤️

Misty is Desexed, Microchipped and Registered

Misty has always been an outdoor dog and is quite happy spending her time in the yard, so her new home will need secure fencing where she can safely enjoy her outdoor space.

She's a lovely girl who enjoys attention and affection, and she's exceptionally good with children.

She's gentle with her owners young grandchildren, all under 8 years old, and has a lovely, calm nature.

Misty is a quiet girl who doesn't bark or whine unnecessarily, making her a peaceful companion.

She's also a good watchdog and will let you know when someone approaches the property.

Misty walks well on a lead, and cats don't seem to bother her.

She's not so comfortable around other dogs and may bark when she sees them.
Her owners say she's never bitten or been involved in a fight.

Ideally, Misty would be best suited to a home where she's the only dog, so she can enjoy having her own space and all the love and attention to herself. ❤️

Misty is hoping to find a loving home with secure fencing, where someone will appreciate her and give her the attention and affection she deserves. 🏡❤️

Reason for Rehoming - Sweet Missy is looking for a new home through no fault of her own. Her owners are struggling to find a rental that allows dogs, so sadly Missy needs a new family to love her.

Meet this gorgeous boy ❤️

This handsome black and white boy has a happy, easy-going personality and a big smile that will melt your heart. 🥰

He loves being around people, enjoys soaking up attention and gets along well with other dogs.

He loves a game of fetch too, although he hasn't quite mastered bringing the ball back part 😂
He's more than happy to chase the ball and leave the retrieving to someone else.

He's a lovely, cruisy young Boy with plenty of love to give and would make a wonderful companion for a family looking for a friendly, affectionate and playful dog. 🐾❤️

🐶 Meet this beautiful girl 🥰

This gorgeous 5-month-old pup is looking for a loving family to call her own.

She's full of energy and personality and loves nothing more than having a good run around, exploring new smells and getting out on little adventures.

She's at that fun puppy age where there's always something new to discover.

Like any young pup, she's still learning her basic commands and will need ongoing training, patience and guidance as she grows.

With a family willing to put in the time and love, she'll have every chance to grow into a wonderful companion.

Once she's finished playing, this affectionate little girl loves cuddles, tummy rubs and soaking up all the attention she can get. ❤️

Her adorable white chest and cute white-tipped tail make her extra special!

This lovely young man is hoping someone out there will open their heart and home to him.

At just 1 year and 8 months old, he has so much love and companionship to offer his future family. ❤️

He has a lovely, calm and easy-going nature.

He enjoys a few pats and a bit of attention, but he's also quite happy to potter about and do his own thing.

He's good on the lead, is comfortable around other dogs, and enjoys getting out for a nice stroll.

He'll still need a little guidance with his basic commands and ongoing training, but with patience, consistency and a family willing to help him learn, he has the potential to make a wonderful companion.

She was originally rescued by Pound Pooches as a young puppy and adopted to her current family.

🏡 Meet Faith

Faith is a lovely young girl who is looking for a new home due to unforeseen changes in her family's work commitments and family health circumstances.

Faith is an energetic, affectionate girl who loves being around her people.

She's still young and has lots of learning ahead of her, but what she really needs is someone with the time, patience and understanding to help her feel safe and settled. ❤️

Faith struggles with being left alone and can become anxious when she can't be near her humans.
She would suit a home where someone is around most of the time to help her build confidence.

Faith would be happiest in a home with another friendly dog for company. 🐾❤️

🐾She's crate trained and sleeps well through the night in her crate.

🐾 She walks well on an adjustable lead, although she gets very excited when she sees other dogs.

🐾 She enjoys spending time outside and having a good sunbathe.

🐾 She's a bouncy, enthusiastic girl who can jump up, so she'll need supervision and guidance around children.

🐾 Faith is not suitable for a home with cats, she likes to chase..

Faith needs someone who can give her the time, consistency and guidance she needs to grow into a happy, confident dog.

A home that understands her energy and anxiety and is willing to work patiently with her would be ideal.

Her kennel, crate and supplies will also come with her to her new home.

Please note: This is a community rehome, meaning Brownie is not a Pound Pooches Hawke's Bay rescue dog.

We are simply helping to find him the right home.

After settling into his new home, Brownie has shown some food guarding behaviour, so we feel it's in his best interests to find a new home where he is the only dog.

He would also be best suited to a home with older children.

Meet Brownie, a 1½-year-old Bull Terrier/ Staffy/Bulldog/X looking for a loving, committed forever home.

✅ Desexed
✅ Vaccinated
✅️ Microchipped
❎ ️Registered

Brownie has had a very difficult start to life.

Despite everything he's been through, Brownie is a loving boy who just needs someone willing to invest the time, patience, and guidance he deserves.

He can be frightened by sudden sounds and movements, so he would thrive in a calm, stable home where he can continue to build his confidence.

Brownie has plenty of energy and enjoys getting out for walks, although he does pull on the lead and would benefit from ongoing training.

He knows some basic commands, such as "sit", but can lose focus easily.

He has been okay with other dogs, although he has been growly with the current owners dog at times and hasn't had much socialisation.

Because of this, we feel he would be best suited as the only dog in the home.

He also doesn't appear to be a fan of cats.

Brownie needs someone who has the time to provide consistent training, plenty of one-on-one attention, and lots of love.

With the right person, he has every chance of becoming a loyal and devoted companion.

I’m so sorry everyone, but Lulu will not be coming into our care.

While I was working through the foster and adoption applications, her owner decided to rehome her directly to a friend.

This was completely out of my control.

Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to apply and offer Lulu a loving home. ❤️
