Hi friends ☺️ so only few people know so far, but I’ve had a pretty rough start into 2026. Last Monday the 5th I had a really scary fall off my young horse, who I had only just got back from being trained to ride. It was a bad fall and I’ve broken my back in 3 places. Luckily, the fractures are on the sides of each vertebra (lumbar spine L2 L3 and L4) and do not involve my spinal cord, or my life could have been permanently changed forever. I am very lucky to be able to recover from this, but in the mean time I’m really needing some help and support. Not that there is ever a good time for something like this to happen, but it has happened during a particularly hard financial time, as my lovely cat Opal actually fell off our roof and broke her leg in 2 places in December and had a repair surgery for several thousand dollars which I am paying off, and I have also invested a lot of money into having my horse trained and so therefore am short on funds in general currently, and I also have my precious Dolly dog who is 15 now and in kidney failure, and I know I am on my last months with her and I want to keep her as comfortable and well looked after as possible. She has ongoing medical costs of her own. So there is a lot I have to try and cover, and so my mum has made this Give a little page for me to try and receive some support if we can.
