Over the course of their classes, these pups built confidence, learnt important puppy skills and manners, and got plenty of all-important socialisation along the way.

🐾 Meet Moose... and Anna! 💚

Any Monday that starts with cuddles from an 11-week-old Great Dane puppy is going to be a good one! 😍🐶

Moose popped into the clinic for his second vaccination and health check this morning, and he also had the important job of helping us introduce one of the newest members of our Napier team, vet Anna!

It's safe to say Moose made a pretty great first impression, and we suspect he'll be taking up a lot more room at his future visits. 😂🐶

Zena and Emily have been out and about visiting farms across Napier as part of our Working Dog programme.

These on-farm visits are a great opportunity to provide working dogs with their annual health checks and vaccinations, helping keep them fit, healthy, and ready for the season ahead!

When was the last time you checked your pet’s microchip details?

A microchip is one of the best ways to help reunite a lost pet with their family — but only if the contact details linked to it are correct and up to date.

🐶 Remember, Council registration and NZCAR registration are different! Registering your dog with your local Council does not automatically mean their microchip details are registered and up to date on the New Zealand Companion Animal Register (NZCAR).

Not sure of your pet’s microchip number? Pop into the clinic and our friendly team can scan your pet and let you know.

A little helping hand for one of our special locals! 🦜🖤

This injured Tui was brought into the clinic for some care and was certainly enjoying a good feed with nurse Deanna.

It’s always a privilege to be able to help care for our precious native wildlife, and we’re hoping this little one makes a great recovery! 🌿
