🐶💙 Astro's Cherry Eye Adventure! 💙🐶

Handsome little Astro recently visited us for a cherry eye procedure and was as brave as can be throughout his stay! 🌟

Cherry eye occurs when a gland in the third eyelid becomes displaced, creating a pink or red swelling in the corner of the eye. While it may look alarming, it can often be corrected with surgery to help keep the eye comfortable and healthy.

Astro was an absolute superstar, soaking up plenty of love and cuddles from our team before heading home to recover. 🐾 We're pleased to report he's doing great and is well on his way to getting back to all the fun puppy adventures he loves!

🐶💖 Dixie was in for her desexing procedure today! 💖🐶

Brave girl Dixie visited us for her dog spay and was an absolute superstar throughout her stay. ⭐

After plenty of TLC from our team, Dixie was soon resting comfortably and enjoying some well-deserved cuddles as she recovered. We're so proud of how well she did and wish her a smooth recovery at home with lots of love and treats. 💕

Sweet little Rosie popped into Papamoa Vets for a visit, and it's safe to say she stole a few hearts while she was here! 🥰

With her adorable puppy eyes, wagging tail, and curious nature, Rosie kept the team smiling from the moment she arrived. Visits like these are one of the best parts of our day, especially when we get to meet such a happy, confident puppy.

Here's beautiful Sky with her mum, Dr Emma. 💙

As one of our much-loved vet pets, Sky is always happy to pop into the clinic for a visit and soak up a little extra attention from the team. We're pretty sure she knows she's part of the Papamoa Vets family!

How special is this duo? 💕🐾

Meet Filly and Sky, a beautiful mother-and-daughter Springer Spaniel team owned by two of our very own vets! These lovely girls recently stopped by Bayfair Vets, giving us the perfect excuse for some cuddles and admiration.

It's always a treat to care for the pets of our team members, and Filly and Sky certainly brighten our day whenever they visit. From wagging tails to sweet Springer smiles, these gorgeous girls are loved by everyone in the clinic. 🩺❤️

We think it's safe to say that veterinary medicine runs in the family! 🐶✨
