Puppy Manners Classes

Our first Puppy Manners Class (in July) was a sell-out and a great success. The next class starts on Monday 2 November 2026. Get in quick to secure a spot for you and your new pup!

Build a confident, well-behaved dog with our small, structured training classes!

Give your puppy the best start with essential foundation skills in a fun, supportive environment.

You’ll cover:
• Focus and engagement
• Play skills (including tug)
• Sit & down
• Settling calmly on a bed
• Lead walking
• Reliable recall

Day/Time: Mondays, 6:00–7:00pm, starting Monday 2 November 2026
Duration: 6-week course
Class size: Max 8 puppies
Cost: $90 for non-members; $60 for members

NEW CLASS STARTING SOON
"Advanced Manners and Co-operative Care"

For all dogs who have completed Basic Manners. This class will teach Advanced Manners and Co-operative Care.

Goals:
• Perfect day-to-day skills: settle, walk nicely on lead, come when called, and more
• Distraction training: your dog responds like you want him to, even in exciting places
• Co-operative care: prepare your dog to enjoy being touched and handled for basic health care and vet visits

Day/Time: Wednesdays, 6-7pm, starting Wednesday 2 September 2026
Venue: Taieri A&P Showgrounds
Duration: 6-week course
Cost: $90 for non-members; $60 for members
