Loan Cage and Crate Return!

Hi everyone, we have a number of our loan cages and 1 XL dog crate out and about.
We are asking for them to return to Matamata clinic ASAP please 😇

We have had a confirmed case of parvovirus in a dog that has recently visited dog parks and frequented public areas while symptomatic. If your dog is not fully vaccinated, please refrain from taking it out in public until the vaccination course is complete. Should your dog exhibit symptoms such as vomiting and diarrhea, please schedule an appointment and adhere to all instructions provided by our staff.

We are a teaching clinic and regularly have veterinary students observing consultations, surgeries, and farm visits as part of their training.

If you would prefer not to have a student present during your appointment or visit, please let our staff know — we completely respect your choice.

FACIAL ECZEMA SPORES!!! The spores are increasing. Zinc supplements should now be provided in feed or water systems for dairy herds. Bolusing sheep and young cattle is the optimal option for full coverage. If you wish to determine your spore levels, please submit a grass or f***l sample for testing.
