Meet Charlie the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel 🐶
Charlie visited us for his annual check-up earlier this year, where we recommended a dental procedure. He later returned for a clean, X-rays, and a few extractions, and has recovered beautifully.

Last week, Esther and her family cruised into Port Vila—not just to enjoy a beautiful day like most visitors, but with a special mission in mind. They had arranged to bring donated parasite treatments for the animals of Vanuatu - with the help of MVS Small Animals, a vet business in Matamata, New Zealand, where Esther is a veterinary nurse.

Thank you Esther, Liam, Jack, and Mady for going out of your way and showing such kindness.

Because of you, so many dogs in need will have healthier, happier lives. 🐾💙

Happy World Vet Day
Today is about more than just medicine. Being a part of your pet’s life is something we never take for granted. From first visits to final goodbyes, and all the little moments in between, it’s a privilege to care for the animals who mean so much to you.
Thank you to our vets who give us long days, make difficult decisions, and show compassion to every patient and every family. Thank you for celebrating the wins with us, and for supporting us through the harder moments too.

Although Purple Poppy Day every February is a designated day of remembrance for animals who served in war, here at MVS, like you, we remember animals year-round.

Animals are our constant companions who also come to our aid when we need them most. So, this Anzac Day, we will again remember the animals who gave their service – and their lives – alongside us.
