10-year-old gelding Gothenburg (Rios x Rongonui) looking proud as punch in his LOVERACING.NZ-sponsored rug he scored over the weekend at the Egmont-Wanganui Hunt Club Hunter Trials 😍
Previously trained by Danica Guy, racing under the same name Gothenburg managed one win from eight starts. However, he made quite the name for himself in his life after racing having evented up to 3* level, and competing to pro amateur level in the show jumping ring with Dana Hawkins. Now with Charlotte Miles, the pair have this winter begun hunting together and once again he is thriving at that too by the looks of it! Described by Charlotte as one of the coolest horses she's ever owned and taking to his life as a hunter like a duck to water, Gothenburg is our very deserving horse of the week! - "I’ve always loved my tbs and he’s just such a testament to an amazing and versatile breed."
