Thank you to everyone who helped set up the arenas today! Great team work saw them up in time for famil after the RDA Gymkhana 🐴😊

We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. We are aiming for prize giving at 2pm, but will keep you updated after lunch how times are tracking.

Thanks again to everyone for making this show happen at short notice after 27 Sept was postponed due to the weather. We really appreciate your support!!

10/10/2026

Arenas are nearly complete, arena famil will go from 4.15 to 5.30pm. No riding after that time as first aiders and steward will be gone. Enjoy!

10/10/2026

Appreciate if riders on the grounds can help committee set up arenas now please. We still have two to go.

10/10/2026

Only a handful of RDA riders still on the grounds at this stage so come on down!!

***Runner needed***

Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who have offered to write and run on Sunday.

We have one runner gap to fill from 11.30 - 1.30. Please let Robyn Warren know if you can help over this time.

The sooner we get sheets in, the sooner we can have prize giving for our Horse & Cat Vet Wairarapa Spring Series.

09/10/2026

We are looking forward to seeing you all this weekend!!! The draw has just been revised to reflect a few scratchings, so please check your times on Evo ahead of Sunday. Rider Notes are also available on Evo.

Please note the following re arena set up and yarding tomorrow.

**IMPORTANT** Arena Set Up Saturday - The RDA Gymkhana is being held on the Grounds Saturday 10 October. They expect to finish by 2.30pm.

We can set up the President’s Oval arenas from 12.30pm, and the sand arenas once the Gymkhana has finished, jumps packed away and the arena is harrowed.

The more hands we have on deck, the earlier arena famil can commence – it is likely this will be around 4pm until 5.30pm. We need our Steward and First Aider onsite for famil, so we are unlikely to be able to run later than 5.30pm.

Riders also need to be aware that the RDA will be using yards. Your allocated yard may not be vacant if you arrive early. If you need to use an alternative yard, please move to your allocated yard asap.

Thanks in advance for your help tomorrow - we will try keep you updated with times as the RDA timings become clearer - safe travels!
