LOOKING FOR HOME GROOM 🏡

We are on the lookout for someone to join our team for the NZ Summer!

A home groom/general helper to care for our horses, in particular, someone to feed and look after the horses at home while we go away to showjumping competitions on the weekends. We have probably used up enough goodwill from friends and family 🙈

The role would be mainly home grooming duties, feeding horses, mucking out, and general stable & property maintenance.

Looking for someone who is diligent, trustworthy, reliable, and already has experience working with competition & young horses. They will need to be comfortable and capable of working alone.

We have a showjumping competition stable and breed our own, so we have horses ranging from foals through to Grand Prix jumpers. We are based on a sheep and beef farm so this is a cool opportunity to experience life on a NZ farm!

This job would include accommodation, a car and a small wage for remuneration. Hours/Days will be really flexible based on the competition schedule, so this would be perfect for an international visitor who enjoys working with horses but would also like to be able to travel and enjoy New Zealand on days off.

Based in Dannevirke, Southern Hawkes Bay 📍

Please tag anyone who you think could be interested - Friends of friends are always fabulous!

Well done team CSJ Townsend Equestrian 💙

Welcome to the family baby John (Gambit ECPH)🤎

He arrived to us last month and Soph has fallen so in love with him. He is the kindest, sweetest boy ever and we are so excited for the future with him.

Soph has spent the last 4 weeks bringing him back into work after nearly a year off and he has just been a dream! Managed an outing to Rose Alfeld Equestrian where he was perfect so is now off for a holiday to grow and fatten up!!
