🐾 Meg’s Big Adventure to the UK 🇳🇿✈️🇬🇧

Little legs, BIG adventure! 💕🐾

Meg the adorable Lakeland Terrier travelled from Wellington to Auckland, where she joined us for her final MPI export certification before continuing her journey all the way to the UK 🇬🇧.

She might be tiny, but Meg was oh-so-sweet and an absolute pleasure to look after while she was in our care. 🥰

After making her way across the world, Meg has now been reunited with her family and can get stuck into her next chapter in the UK. 🏡❤️

Safe travels, little Meg — we hope you’re enjoying every minute of your new adventure! 🐾🇬🇧

Meet the Pawfessionals Behind the Professionals!

This week, we’re introducing Vaeda and Banjo, the two furry colleagues who proudly own Tish, our Pet Transport Consultant specialising in pets travelling to Australia. 🇦🇺🐾

Meet the team:

🖤 Vaeda – Australia Travel Support Specialist
Our resident little void. Vaeda is a quiet girl who prefers to keep things low-key. She’s not one to demand attention, but every now and then she’ll decide you’re worthy of an occasional cuddle. 🥹🖤

We’re pretty sure Vaeda’s speciality is silent supervision — she sees everything, says nothing and quietly judges your life choices from somewhere nearby.

📣 Banjo – Chief Communications Officer
Banjo, on the other hand, has NEVER heard of the concept of keeping quiet. 😂

He absolutely loves to sing the song of his people and will take any opportunity to make sure his thoughts, opinions and general existence are known.

Need to know where Banjo is? Don’t worry — you’ll hear him before you see him! 🎶🐈

Together, Banjo and Vaeda provide the perfect balance:
Vaeda brings the quiet professionalism. Banjo brings the announcements. 😂

And Tish? Well, she gets to spend her days helping pets make their way across the Tasman while being supported by the world’s most dramatically different feline co-workers. ❤️🇦🇺

🐾✈️ Malibu has landed in Perth! 🇳🇿➡️🇦🇺

How could we not fall in love with this gorgeous girl? 😻 Malibu travelled from Auckland to Perth to be reunited with her family, and she was just the sweetest little traveller along the way. 💕🐾

A huge thank you to VetMan - Cat & Dog Exports for completing Malibu’s MPI export appointment and helping make sure everything was in order for her big adventure.

🐾✈️ Lily’s Big Adventure to Scotland!

The gorgeous Lily, a beautiful Golden Retriever, has landed safely in Glasgow, Scotland and, most importantly, has been reunited with her family! 💕🐾

Lily travelled all the way from Auckland, New Zealand, with a stopover in Dubai along the way before continuing on to Scotland.

This sweet girl was such an absolute pleasure to look after. 🥰 Lily took everything in her stride and was just the loveliest, sweetest traveller.

Now she’s back where she belongs, enjoying life in Scotland with her family — and we couldn’t be happier for them! 🏡❤️

🐾 TWO FEATURES. ONE MAGAZINE. VERY PROUD TEAM! 🐾

We have a little bit of exciting news to share… Pet Transport NZ has been featured not once, but TWICE in Issue 5 of the GEM Pet Network Magazine! 🎉🐾

And we’re especially proud because the two features showcase two completely different sides of the work we do.

🏅 From pet transport to Defence Force recognition…

One feature celebrates our involvement with the NZ Defence Force Awards for Excellence, where we were incredibly proud to be named a finalist for Sub-Contractor of the Year.

Working alongside Defence and supporting the movement of Military Working Dogs is something we’re incredibly proud of. It’s a very different side of pet transport, but one that is hugely important to us.

🐶🌏 And then there’s Bingo!

Our second feature tells the story of Bingo the Rottweiler and his journey home to China — a fantastic collaboration between Pet Transport NZ and petinair .

Bingo was one of those journeys that showed just how much can happen behind the scenes to get a pet safely from one side of the world to the other. From the planning and preparation here in New Zealand to working together internationally to get this big goofball reunited with his dad in China. ❤️

Two very different stories… but both are a pretty great representation of what Pet Transport NZ is all about.

Complicated moves. Thinking outside the box. Working with fantastic people around the world. And, always, putting the pets first. 🐾✈️🌏

A huge thank you to GEM Pet Network for featuring us TWICE in Issue 5. We’re pretty chuffed to see Pet Transport NZ featured alongside so many fantastic people and businesses from our industry. 🥰

🎥 July Wrapped: Our Travellers of the Month 🐾✈️

July was another busy month filled with wagging tails, happy purrs, exciting adventures, and plenty of airport cuddles! ❤️

From tiny kittens to giant dogs, local departures to international adventures, every journey was unique—but they all had one thing in common: getting safely to the people who love them most.

We’re so grateful to every family who trusted us to be part of such an important milestone. Whether your pet was heading across the Tasman or across the world, it was a privilege to help make their journey as smooth and stress-free as possible.

To all of our July travellers... thank you for letting us be part of your story. We can’t wait to see all the adventures waiting for you in your new homes. 🌍🐶🐱

🐾 Feel Good Friday

Meet the Pawfessionals Behind the Professionals!

This week we’re introducing Luffy & Ice, the dynamic duo who proudly own one of our amazing drivers, Marz! 🐶🐶

Together, these two make up our Field Operations Team... although they each have their own area of expertise.

🌿 Luffy is our Lead Delivery of Kisses. If you’re within cuddling distance, you can expect plenty of kisses and affection. When he’s not handing out love, you’ll find him exploring the great outdoors and making the most of every adventure.

🏖️ Ice is our Customer Relations Manager. Whether it’s a trip to the beach, jumping in the car, or meeting someone new, Ice is always ready with a wagging tail and a friendly hello. He’s never met a stranger—just friends he hasn’t greeted yet!

Together, they’re the perfect team. One keeps morale high with endless cuddles, while the other ensures everyone receives a warm welcome. We’d say Marz has two pretty dedicated assistants keeping an eye on things when she’s not out helping pets on their own journeys! ❤️🐾

🐾 Thomas has landed safely in Dubai! 🇦🇪💙

Thomas, the gorgeous Seal Point Birman, began his journey in Blenheim before flying to Auckland, where we had the pleasure of spending a few days with this handsome boy.

While he was with us, Thomas completed his final veterinary appointment and his MPI export certification, passing everything with flying colours before boarding his international flight to Dubai to be reunited with his family.

We absolutely loved having Thomas in our care. From his gentle nature to his smoochy cuddles, he quickly won over everyone he met. Saying goodbye is never easy, but knowing he’s now safely home with his family and settling into his new life makes it all worthwhile. ❤️

Safe travels, Thomas! We hope your new home is filled with sunny windowsills, cosy naps, and plenty more cuddles. 🐱✈️
