How proud is Drax of this pile of floof? Drax behaved impeccably while I used a tonne of spray in conditioner to remove his summer coat. Here he is posing like he did it himself.

It's winter and time to check if your cat has matting. Don't wait until you feel lumps and they've gone spicy. If their fur parts easily and you can clearly see skin, there is no matting or compaction. Otherwise, your cat needs a groom. Toe Beans can help with that 🐈‍⬛

These guys are on my list of best places to breakfast in Levin. Up there with Raewyn's and Taper. Had the BEST breakfast there this morning. Any other places that hit the spot?

It's a year since I started Toe Beans Cat Spa. Inspired by these two muppets, and every floof I've ever groomed, I took a deep breath and decided to turn a hobby into a business. There have been ups and downs, costs are astronomical, and customers (and their servants) are fantastic. Atlas and Appa are both high maintenance cats, so I feel your pain. Note - there are no good photos of Atlas; I take him as I find him. Appa? Shes poses for the camera every time 🐈‍⬛🐈

Recents and not-so-recents from the camera roll. Thanks to all the owners who have sent in photos of their cat. It's been a real mixture of grooms this year. Everything from a complete shave to desheds and glow ups. Add your cat if you haven't sent a photo to me 🐈‍⬛

Yoshi, one of my first customers, had his regular groom this week. We keep his beautiful thick hair short as it has an amazing ability to mat. He's gone from tolerating me to being my best buddy ❤️

Back to groom Hobson this morning. He's come a long way since his days of not wanting to have his various knots and mats explored. I still have to pretend his tummy is an extention of his side mane, and listen to complaints when I touch his rump, but at least he lets me do it 🐈‍⬛
