In June, Mozzarella got asked to model for Led and Collared. Check out their beautiful range of collars and leads. The best part is, as all biothane, even if your dog gets disgustingly dirty your collar won’t! They are quick and easy to clean! If your collar or lead needs an upgrade this spring, I highly recommend these amazing products!
Also, Lorna did us a huge solid and custom made our groomjng loops!

Congratulations on 5 years at Lord Billingtons, Hana.

It is hard to capture how much you mean to this place. You have been a quiet and steady rock in the business and absolutely essential to everything we have achieved over the past five years.

Watching you grow into such a skilled groomer, and an exceptional human being, has truly been one of the greatest highlights of my grooming career.

Thank you for showing up every day with patience, good humour, and resilience. Thank you for enduring my singing, dancing, and endless stream of chitter chatter. Thank you for letting me dominate the conversations and take praise that really belongs to you.

Most of all, thank you for being my friend.

My superstar administrator Louise has been hard at work booking everyone in for next years schedule. She will be emailing everyone in the next few weeks with your schedule. Please take a moment to look through this and add to your calendars and let me know of any changes that might need to be made. I know a lot of you have already looked and let me know! Thank you!
In Louise’s spare time she is the Porirua coordinator for Kura Kai, an amazing initiative that brings homemade frozen meals into schools to help families in need of extra support. This year they are hoping to provide Christmas bags for the schools they support, if you or your business would like to help them, then check them out on Facebook or Instagram or go to kurakai.co.nz
Here is a video of one of the last cooks that Lord Billingtons sponsored. 30 roast lamb meals provided!!

We got to meet the handsome Freddy the other day and give him a much needed make over!
He is on the hunt for a home to call his own now, he is a character and very funny dog! But please note that he will need support to adjust to a new home and is being marketed as a project!

Wow look at you Freddy!
Looking sharp beautiful boy!
A huge thank you the fabulous staff at Lord Billingtons Pet Groomers in Lower Hutt for their wonderful work with Freddy this week. We really do appreciate it 🥰.

P.S Freddy the dynamo is available for adoption 🐾🫶
This handsome chap is a project dog, not for the faint hearted, but he will be so much fun for a kind experienced home….with patience and a sense of humour!

Sorry for the lack of posts recently, we have been a busy team!

I’m about to start rebooking for next year, so if you’d like to adjust your frequency, day, or time, just let me know.
If you already have specific dates in mind, flick them through anytime.✨

Christmas is only 22 weeks away, and December appointments are already very limited. If you’re hoping for a pre‑Xmas groom and don’t have one booked, please get in touch as soon as possible.

Also, final shout out, Thank you to everyone for always being so flexible when I’ve had to shuffle things around, I really appreciate you all!

Sammy came for a visit today for a freshen up before going to his new home!
I’m always happy to help Animal Services Hutt City or any dog that needs a helping hand! Animal Services do such a great job at rehoming dogs that need their help!
Hopefully we will see Sammy again, he’s such a little sweetheart!

Do you see your pup in the photos?

What do dog groomers and Anakin Skywalker have in common?

We really don’t like sand 😅

We know the temptation, your pup has a groom booked, so why not let them have one last muddy, sandy adventure first? But arriving extra grubby means extra time is needed to get them clean and ready for grooming.

If your dog comes in extra grubby, additional charges may apply to cover the extra work required.

A quick brush-off or rinse before their appointment goes a long way, and we (and your dog!) will thank you for it

Happy May the 4th!
