We are looking for another team member to join us.
This role is for someone who genuinely enjoys being around Cats and Dogs, working with them, and who has the physical fitness, and attention to detail that working with animals requires.
You will be required to work Sunday, Monday and Friday 7.30am - approx. 12noon, and 3.00pm - 6.00pm
In this Role you will be required to;
🐾 care for and feed both cats and dogs
🐾 cleaning of all kennels and cattery areas to a high hygiene standard
🐾 exercise and interact with dogs of all sizes
🐾 monitor animal health and their behaviour and write any notes as required
🐾 work as part a team, but able to also work well independently
🐾 be confident meeting Customer's with their cat and dogs on arrival or pickups
🐾 use our computer system and eftpos machine
🐾 follow procedures and instructions
The Person we require will;
🐾 be honest, reliable and with a good work ethic
🐾 be physically fit
🐾 be able to follow written procedures and instructions
🐾 be confident working with both dogs of all sizes, and cats
🐾 understand that cleaning is required to a high standard
🐾 understand that at times this is a very busy position
🐾 understand that this is more than cuddling cats and dogs
🐾 have their own reliable transport and not rely on another person
While animal handling experience is preferred, this is not essential if you are practical, honest and reliable and committed to animals and their welfare.
