This beautiful ram , went home recently , i finally tamed him up and he was the sweetest boy .
He and his brother were glued at the hip , i miss his presence terribly, and i can’t imagine how his brother and piggy friends feel .
When the vet came to put him down, we had another sheep to see, Hersh had a cloudy eye and needed immediate treatment for best out come , never mind it was a public holiday 😩, as Zevy went to sleep , she said we might have to move him first before checking Hersh , so pigs don’t eat him 😩 , I said to her no I can tell you , they won’t .
What happened next had me crying and left her like, Cath you are so right , the pigs also came over, to be with their brother, while vet was here , they too knew he had passed, and hang their heads in sadness, his sheep brother kept using his foot , and rubbing on him as to say get up , his tangi lasted days for his paddock mates .
Never ever underestimate the power of animals emotions, I have seen this to many times .
It’s the worst bit about having Kadosh .
