Hey everyone,
Planning a get away these summer holidays and need someone to take care of your precious horses?

I am a local equestrian, based in Kumeu, offering a range of equine services including but not limited to the following:
- Feeding out ( feed, hay and water)
- Cover changes
- Preparing and holding for vet and/or farrier
- Bringing in and turning out horses
- Mucking out

Through many years working as a stud hand and stable hand, I have cultivated a high standard of care with a large knowledge base to bring the very best to you and your horses.

Welcome to Beka Equestrian!
Beka Equestrian offers equine services for the everyday equestrian. From feeding out, holding for vet & farrier to working horses and lessons.
Based in Kumeu, I offer services to the general Rodney arena. Check out the services section for more info on what I offer.

A bit about me:

I have been working in the Kumeu area for the last 7 years as a riding instructor at a local riding school and as the head stable hand.
I have also worked as a stud groom preparing weanlings and yearlings for sales.
Through my years of work in the equestrian sector, I have cultivated high standards of care, and developed a large knowledge base to bring the very best to you and your horses.

Teaching wise, I have worked with many riders at different ages and stages. I love watching riders progress and their confidence grow through the understanding of horse behaviour and the basic biomechanics that influences both horse and rider performance.
Nothing beats watching the partnerships grow and develop and the wonderful moments that this creates!

In terms of riding, I have been riding for the better part of 12 years. I have dabbled in a wee bit of everything, however dressage and rehabilitation riding has been my main focus for the past 4 years.
This year will be my first year back jumping and first season competing.
I have worked, ridden and schooled a variety of horses on the flat at different stages and temperaments.
