Trying their best, every single day ❤️

Your dog is trying harder than you think.
They’re constantly learning from you, picking things up in ways you don’t always notice… kind of like toddlers do. In a recent study they have found that dogs are actually more similar to toddlers than cats.

They don’t always get it right straight away, but that doesn’t mean they’re not trying.

A little patience and kindness goes a long way in their world.
Watching them learn, grow, and want to get it right is honestly the best part of the journey.

Please treat them kindly 🐾

Took Floki for a walk with Indie today… Floki is one of my OG doggos but since he had eye surgery he has been reactive with dogs so I thought why not get him back out on some walks with his friend Indie 💕 we saw a few other dogs today and Floki was so good!!

Luna’s first session vs second session.
Same dog.
Different confidence.

She isn’t “bad.”
She’s learning that the world is safe.
If your dog is like this or you see a dog like this when you’re walking, just remember that they’re learning and scared. 🫶

Although Luna may have a potential new home🤞they will be doing introductions soon, I can still pass on your details if you would like to meet Luna. She’ll thrive in the right home, with ideally no other animals or children and someone around part of the day to continue supporting her.

Reactive dogs aren’t “bad” they’re often just overwhelmed or unsure.

This is Luna 🐕 A 2-year-old mixed breed looking for a new, loving home.

This was her very first training session, so don’t judge her on this moment alone… you’ll see her progress ✨

She would be best suited to a home with no other animals or children, and someone who is home for at least part of the day to help her continue building confidence.

She’s currently in training to set her up for success in her new home 🐾🏠

We have another session next week, so stay tuned for her before & after.
