🐝 Our Large Animal Team have been busy bees lately!

From heading out on farm calls and taking bloods, to assisting with calvings and disbudding the cutest little calves 🐮💛

No two days are ever the same, and they love being out on farms supporting our clients and caring for their animals through every season.

Three adorable little kittens visited us recently for their desexing surgeries using the SPCA Snip ‘n’ Chip vouchers 🐾💛

These tiny cuties were so brave, had lots of cuddles from the team, and are now recovering nicely. Desexing is such an important step in helping reduce unwanted litters and giving kittens the best chance at a happy, healthy future.

We loved having these sweet babies in with us 🐱✨

Today, on Anzac Day, we pause to remember and honour the brave men and women who served and sacrificed for our freedom. Their courage, resilience, and unwavering spirit will never be forgotten.

We also pay tribute to the countless animals who served alongside them—horses, dogs, pigeons, and more—who showed loyalty, bravery, and devotion in the face of unimaginable circumstances. Their contributions and sacrifices are an enduring part of our history.

At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember them.
