✨ NZ Warmblood Tour – Merit Award C**t ✨
Not everyone presenting foals on tour is a long-time breeder - and that’s something we genuinely love to see.
Because our stud book is just as much about welcoming new breeders as it is celebrating established programs.
Today we saw a fantastic example of that with the gorgeous black c**t DD Delamain, presented by Dayle Flannagan.
This smart young c**t earned a well-deserved Merit Award, making it a brilliant first step into warmblood breeding.
DD Delamain is by the Trakehner stallion Woodfield Park La Croix, bringing elegance, athleticism, and refinement — traits Trakehners are so well known for contributing to modern sporthorses.
On the dam side, he is out of the thoroughbred mare Pamukkale xx, whose pedigree blends Duelled xx / Icelandic xx / Drums of Time xx - a strong foundation of toughness, heart, and rideability.
It’s a lovely example of combining Trakehner quality with thoroughbred blood, a cross that has historically produced very trainable, athletic performance horses.
This c**t will be entered into Register 2, and what a fantastic start to Dayle’s breeding journey.
We’re always excited to see new breeders step forward with their foals because that’s how our sporthorse community continues to grow and evolve.
Congratulations Dayle - a great result and a very promising young horse for the future.
